Review summary

For our first cruise, this was an awesome experience! My husband and I traveled with his brother and wife (which was their first cruise also), we all decided this was our first but definitely not our last!! We look forward to sailing on Carnival again!!

Embarkation

Quick and painless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was excellent everywhere!!

Tiffany's Lido Restaurant

5 out of 5

The food was delicious! My one suggestion would be to take off the French cuisine and replace it with a seafood night.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the serenity deck! Such a peaceful place for relaxation

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show we attended was breath-taking!!! The performers are top notch!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The whole ship personnel was always so friendly! We were always greeted with smiles! Atak was our room steward! He was so gracious and kind!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being our first cruise, we were happy to see the ship layout and directions at every elevator! Everything was always so clean!! Kudos to the cleaning staff!!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was larger than we expected!! The bed was amazingly soft and comfortable. The pressure in the shower was quite a surprise! I was expecting it to dribble out but it was wonderful!!

Ship tip

Pay attention to the ship layout at the elevators! They will help you to quickly navigate around the ship in a timely manner!

Ports of call

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!! We swam with the stingrays at this island. It was so fun. The only draw back was we were there in January so the water was freezing!

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
It was a dreary and overcast day on this stop. I was not very impressed with Nassau. We only toured the tourist-y places. We should have booked an excursion to actually tour the island, which is our plan for the next trip.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The waiting to be called was long and the seating was not very comfortable. But I guess EVERYTHING can't be perfect, right?!

We agree, we took our first cruise in 2010 and can't get enough since. Cruising, if done right can be a very inexpensive vacation. We are counting the days until our next cruise in April wooohooo

My second cruise in April, my husbands first. I know he is going to love it. We're snorkeling so I hope the water warms up by then.
