Overall we had a great cruise and would go again except during Spring Break.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
First night service rather slow, 2nd night checked what was on menu and didn't seem appealing to us so went to buffet and found it was the same food items, LOVED the deli sandwiches, salad bar, and ice cream. Pizza was ok but service was so slow that I didn't want to wait in line. Late at night, I had pizza and the cheese was now melted. Would prefer
shredded cheese to lumps of cheese. LOVED the taco, burrito bar with salsa bar!
Onboard Activities

Enjoyed the game show and Diva show. My husband went and enjoyed one comedy show. We both were in the casino a lot each day/night.
Entertainment

Love the band in the atrium and next to the casino. The Diva show was awesome too.
Service and Staff

Joey, our room steward, was attentive, pleasant, and cheerful each time we saw him.
He always checked in on us and made sure everything was great. Most waiters were fabulous.

Layout and design was perfect for us since we got an absolutely PERFECT room suggested by
our cruise man that helped us decide on a room. We were 2 doors down from the Atrium which made it real easy for us 'ol folks' to get in and out. Several times I told my husband that we need to thank him for suggesting a superb room for us!!! There is a lot of walking onboard so this help a lot.
Cabin / Stateroom

We got what we payed for so the comfort, size, and cleanliness was what we expected. The toilet was really loud when flushed. We REALLY enjoyed the shower because of the great water pressure. Best shower!
Ship tip
If you want kids to dart out in front of you or want younger men to flirt with old ladies, go during Spring Break. Otherwise, go another time like we intend to do in the future. Also, if you are older and have pains while walking, request a room near the Atrium closer to the elevators. Also, might want to request a wheelchair when you disembark. We were in line for an hour or two and it killed my feet and back for a couple days afterward.
We stood in line for an hour or two with no place to sit and rest. We were told it took more time because it was spring break. I will NEVER take a cruise during the months of MARCH and APRIL because of this. I am tempted to request a wheelchair because my SI joint, back and legs/feet were killing me by the time it was all over. It took a couple days to recuperate. What about installing benches along both sides of the line????
Thanks for the great review. I be sailing on the Elation in May. I hear you about standing for long periods of time. I have the same problem. I'm taking your advice about requesting a wheelchair.
