First time cruise for us. Destinations were good, ship was fine, services and staff were very professional and attentive. We would take this cruise again.

Over all the food was abundant and fresh. The main dinning room service was exceptional but some what slow. The staff placed us in the same seating area 3 times in a row, even though I requested a different side of the room. Food in the dinning room was exceptional;.
Onboard Activities

Chris our cruise director was great, he made set the tone and made the activities fun. Adam was the perfect compliment to Chris: these guys were a dynamic duo for us.

Staff worked to do a good job. Our cabin attendant Henery was great; he made us feel valuable and important while maintaining a friendly next door neighbor feel.
Ship Quality

Ship was ok overall. No bad but not great. We noticed many mechanical issues that needed to be addressed. Broken elevators, broken ice machines, drink dispensers out of order. I would have thought more of a priority would have been spent maintenance.

Ship tip
For being one of Carnivals smaller and older ships, the Elation is a fine ship and we would ride on it again.
We did the See and Sea. We enjoyed the scenic ride around the island, our guide was informative and entertaining. The Nature Center has 3 birds and 2 snakes. The glass bottom shark seeing adventure was delivered as advertised and we had an incredible time on the water.
We did the Top 10 excursion and we had the opportunity to see a lot of the island in a small period of time. Our guide was extremely professional and very energetic; he gave us a great amount of knowledge in a short period of time with structure and personality.
Had "Faster to the Fun" option and we were off the ship in record time. It was worth every penny. Do yourself a favor, take the option, and move to the front of the line.
