This ship is 20 years old and it is showing alot of signs of needing a major over haul. Alot of repairs.

For those that have 6 or more drinks per day, the adult beverage program is excellent, provided any other person in your cabin over 21 also drinks as much.

If you get a cabin on the bottom deck and don't use the elevators, then you won't gain those notorious cruise pounds.

Buffets get really crowded, so be prepared to stand in line. Also, when you reach a destination port (Cozumel) you get off the ship on a lower deck, not the Empress deck which you originally entered.

On LIDO deck in the mornings there are 3 sections left right and MIDDLE! Use the middle section it moves quicker. You are not skipping the line most ppl don't know about this!

Be on the lookout for extreme disinfecting including unexpected washing of chips in the casino. Even though no announcement was made about problems or has appeared on any media, we returned home to spend hours in the local hospital being treated for dehydration, nausea, and diarrhea.

The Cheers Program isn't worth it - unless you really intend to drink more than 5 alcoholic beverages a day.

Definitely find your excursion deals on shore. The savings are large. We enjoyed Playa Mia in Cozumel, but, parts were still under construction. The teenagers loved the waterslides.
