My wife and I have experience with over 50 cruises on several lines including Carnival. This last trip was fun in that we were traveling with great friends that were less experienced with the cruise experience. Food service and quality were OK, but I've had better including previous Carnival trips. The wait staff were extremely polite, friendly and tried to be helpful. However, there were problems. At a table for 10, mistakes were made each night. Meals (as ordered) were not delivered. Multiple requests were needed for bread, condiments etc. One lady waited 45 minutes for her lamb because it had to come from "the other kitchen". All and all most all of the passengers seemed to have a good time.

Grand suite on this ship is the way to go. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

Ship Tip

Be on the lookout for extreme disinfecting including unexpected washing of chips in the casino. Even though no announcement was made about problems or has appeared on any media, we returned home to spend hours in the local hospital being treated for dehydration, nausea, and diarrhea.

Try to spend an extra day or more here.

It's a favorite. If you're short on time, come back to the port area. Pleanty to do.

Did not go ashore here, but heard mixed reviews from others.
