I would highly recommend using the Carnival Hub App. It keeps you aware of the show schedules, your account balance, you can chat with your kids to know where they are, and see what food options are at all times.

We ate brunch in the Scarlet Restaurant every morning, which was amazing, but if I'd known sooner about the breakfast burritos at the Mexican restaurant on the Lido deck, I would've definitely had more of them. : )

Invest in staff that speak more English. It was frustrating enough to deal with all of the issues we had, and then to have to deal with people who could barely communicate was a disgrace.

If you like Barbeque get in line early on at the Pig and Anchor. Its only open for 2.5 hours and only on sea days. Final tip is get in the line from the aft of the ship not the mid. Its always about 1/2 the size or less.

There is a barbeque spot on the 5th floor ( I think) and it is great food. Make sure to go on the behind the scenes tour if you can. This tour will give you a new appreciation for cruising.

Get two rooms for more than 1 couple instead of staying four to a cabin. Buy water!!! Don't plan on drinking the ship water. It was horrible.

Cheeseburger joint, Tandoor, pasta bar & Cantina are all great for lunches and snacks. Nightly movies at the pool deck are good. But, if you like to dance and party and love music shows, get on the ship with The Flying Scotsman. He will definitely entertain you.
