Review summary

This cruise was just what I needed to take a break from a very demanding work schedule. Our cabin was on the Spa Deck of the Carnival Dream, which included access to the aroma therapy rooms, sauna, gym, and other services. We spent several hours every afternoon in the spa enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. I was also able to participate in yoga classes every morning.

Of course, along with all of the relaxing, we enjoyed the food, and evening entertainment including Movie night, Joe Brown the comedian, and the awesome rock and roll tribute performed by our amazing cruise director Chris Williams aka. "The Flying Scotsman".

Can't wait to book the next cruise!

Our dinner wait staff was amazing, always calling us by name, and remembering the things we liked, such as, extra butter or bread, I don't remember their names now but we sat at table 362, for early dining. They were always smiling and friendly, and made the dining experience feel special.

Onboard Activities

Really enjoyed the evening movies and shows, but the timing sometimes made it a challenge to get to events on time if you were in the dining room having dinner. Would be nice if the event times and dinner times were a little better coordinated.

Loved the ship. Very clean, well maintained. The ventilation in the casino area could be better the smoke smell was a bit overwhelming.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the cabin, and the cabin steward, I Made, was awesome. He kept our room clean and I loved all of the towel animals there to greet us at the end of every day!

Ship tip

Take advantage of the Spa amenities. Absolutely made my vacation.

I have a spa balcony booked for October. Glad you enjoyed your cruise. can you tell me more about the spa deck and the ship. how many hot tubs are there? was the thelassotherapy pool open?
