Perfect quick trip - preferred to stay on the ship by kierabethbohan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest

It was the perfect, affordable, getaway. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary on this cruise - if you are looking for that, find a newer ship. This is a great ship for more affordable cruising and being content with a few shows and pools, with a couple short stops along the way.

Wonderful Bimini cruise by Angel4re

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Conquest

It was a great trip. If you just want to go to the beach, I recommend getting a taxi and going to Radio Beach. The director on this cruise was very outgoing and kept everyone entertained.

One of the worst cruises ever! by rbbenson67

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest

My family and I are in total agreeance that we would never do the Carnival Conquest again and definitely no 3-day cruises, only 7 or higher. It weeds out the problem children.

Average experience on Bahamas Island trip due to mismanagement and is worthless but on ship experience is fine by vaibhavraj107

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest

The ship was old[2002 made] but has a different and good spaces to capture. It has focused on entertainment and had huge spaces for that. The management is worst here. The management was very dis organized in making to and fro movement to island.

You get what you pay for by Bdaycruise50

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest

This was a nice enough 4 day get away. If you want luxury, this is not the way to go. I would rate the cruise a C.

A real young person party cruise by Marmar81333021

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Conquest

It was my worst cruise experience ever. My own fault. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. Carnival 3 day cruises out of Miami are party ships. All drinking and eating, very loud music everywhere. Guests on my deck were so inconsiderate. I didn’t get a good nights sleep the whole weekend. Definitely, not what this 79 year old was looking for.

Relaxing cruise by amandalove3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest

Boarded the ship on Monday around lunch time and spent the day around the pool. We stopped at key west and then Cozumel and spent the days out seeing those places and then a fun day at sea and then we were back home. While we were cruising at night we did little fun shows like comedy and played bingo or just relaxed in our cabin.

Price Quality - we spent close to $2500 for an awful experience by kevin71717958

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest

- Port check in: was long lines, overcrowded. - Boat check-in: long lines at elevators, waited approx. 30 minutes to get on one. - Room check-in: waited for room to clear, had to wait until ready. ALL of the people were at the main deck where the food was, it was chaos, so many people on such a small area-deck. When the rooms were eventually ready, we had to play the waiting game for the elevators again, this time, we waited approx. 45-60min. Bags were left at our doorstep one hour after we got into the room. - Room Neighbours: we understand it is the luck of the draw, but the first night it was midnight, the next night it was 4AM, the last night it was 3AM when they went to bed AFTER their party. We have a 7 and 1 year old in the room, the walls are very thin. We heard everything, including the foul language, and the physical fighting on the first night. - Food: Food options were good. LONG LINES, approx. 50 people standing in line for basically anything. The food options were good, the number of food vendors was very low for the amount of people on the boat. - Specialty Dining: Good experience, even though we had a reserved time and table, we still had to check in and wait approx. 15 minutes to be seated. - Family: we were traveling as a family, with 2 kids (7 and 1). We had a stroller for the baby. People and the boat were not 100% stroller friendly. The waiting game was very nerve racking when you have a kid waiting for food, and you have STRESS trying to get food. - Internet: satellite internet on their "premium" plan. If this was "premium", i can only imagine what basic would have been. Very low quality and speed. - Unlimited Sodas: I was expecting fountain stands to get refills.. NO, we had to stand in line with all the others, waiting for them to order, give their card, sign off, etc.. Again, with 2 kids, it is not ideal. In 3 days, i perhaps got 20 sodas, i did not get my monies worth form that plan, due to long lines at the bars. - Private Island Half Moon Cay: great location, had some fun there. Also not stroller friendly. NOTHING INCLUDED on the island, everything is extra. I guess the $2500 cruise was not enough to cover not even sodas/snacks on the island. Agian, 2 kids in our party for 4+ hours on the island. The island is a money maker, not customer satisfaction oriented. OVERALL: Price Quality - we spent close to $2500 for an awful experience (see above). Nothing was done to accommodate it. There are other options out there for a better, more quality cruise experience.

Caribbean Cruise by merjones

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest

This was my 3rd cruise, and my husband's 1st. Overall we had a good time. However, we thought it was crappy we had to leave Nassau by 3:30. There wasn't enough time to do everything we wanted in a short amount of time. Other Carnival ships docked didn't have to leave until 9pm. We almost got left behind.

The staff was very gracious, kind and did an excellent job in very difficult circumstances, and made up for the less stellar ship. The othe cruiser passangers were NOT gracious, often rude and inconsiderate. Way too crowded. by jmayer27457020

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest

The above review is written by Charlotte Mayer for 1320, outside cabin and 1302, inside. Both were serviced by Joaquim and his assistant, who did a great job. The dining room service by Sandrew and assistant Radish was also excellent and a welcome escape from the over crowded cruise. The cabins were fine, but there was too much noise from below, under 1302. Overall your great staff, ship wide, made up for the ships lack of bling and the overcrowding. They worked very hard under difficult circumstances!
