I forgot one last tour we took. It was the 'Behind the Scene's' tour. Awesome, awesome, awesome! This was worth the price we paid. We got to see where the crew goes & how they live, how the ship runs, where the food is prepared and met the Captain. This is a must do tour!

We especially enjoyed relaxing and reading on the Serenity deck. You can choose either sun or shade. They give you a towel, you can take your food up there to eat, and they offer drink service, too.

LOTS of kids on board during the summer months. Wait till school is in for a more relaxed trip

The pizza was good as usual, 24 hours and the addition of Guy,s Burger Joint was great!

If you do not want to be rushed during dinner, take a late one and at the same time get to know a little more of your servers. As the evening dies down, they have more time to answer any questions you may have, out of the ordinary "what's in this meal"? and learn a little-bit about their culture.

Go to cruiseline.com or Carnival and read the reviews on the forum before you purchase another vacation on a cruise line. Don't always set your expectations super high, especially if you never done a cruise. Be flexible and accept that things could go wrong, just keep open mind and stay positive.

My tidbit of advice is for guests to go with an open mind. Understand that the ship will be crowded, whether you are on the Lido deck, trying to find a lounger, or even moving around the lobby area when there is entertainment plus the photographers with their backdrops taking up room. Lineups at Guest Services also cuts down on lobby space, so enjoy the crowded areas and people watch. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people too.

Make sure you bring enough cash! You'll want $20s for any excursions/cab fares and lots of $1s and $5s for tips along the way. The ATM onboard charges like, $7. Also, please tip your waitstaff extra if they deserve it, and they will!

Visit the little Seafood Restaurant on the second floor of the Lido. The Bouillabaisse was super delicious. The ceviche and seafood fritters were excellent. Plus, very few people go there, so it's quiet and with a nice view.

As soon as you get on the ship get your guest services visit out the way before the long lines

The Hamburger Hut was a great hit! But what about those who don't eat beef? Sometimes the Deli wasn't getting it. They didn't serve potato chips with their sandwiches.

Take the stairs and get some exercise to work off the added pounds from the wonderful food.

Be sure to have at least one hamburger. They were delicious!

Do not purchase a room directly under the ledo deck, the staff start unstaking the chairs every morning at 5:00 a.m.
Alacruiser
Be sure to eat at Guy's Burger Joint the best food on the ship!!
