Review summary
- Port check in: was long lines, overcrowded. - Boat check-in: long lines at elevators, waited approx. 30 minutes to get on one. - Room check-in: waited for room to clear, had to wait until ready. ALL of the people were at the main deck where the food was, it was chaos, so many people on such a small area-deck. When the rooms were eventually ready, we had to play the waiting game for the elevators again, this time, we waited approx. 45-60min. Bags were left at our doorstep one hour after we got into the room. - Room Neighbours: we understand it is the luck of the draw, but the first night it was midnight, the next night it was 4AM, the last night it was 3AM when they went to bed AFTER their party. We have a 7 and 1 year old in the room, the walls are very thin. We heard everything, including the foul language, and the physical fighting on the first night. - Food: Food options were good. LONG LINES, approx. 50 people standing in line for basically anything. The food options were good, the number of food vendors was very low for the amount of people on the boat. - Specialty Dining: Good experience, even though we had a reserved time and table, we still had to check in and wait approx. 15 minutes to be seated. - Family: we were traveling as a family, with 2 kids (7 and 1). We had a stroller for the baby. People and the boat were not 100% stroller friendly. The waiting game was very nerve racking when you have a kid waiting for food, and you have STRESS trying to get food. - Internet: satellite internet on their "premium" plan. If this was "premium", i can only imagine what basic would have been. Very low quality and speed. - Unlimited Sodas: I was expecting fountain stands to get refills.. NO, we had to stand in line with all the others, waiting for them to order, give their card, sign off, etc.. Again, with 2 kids, it is not ideal. In 3 days, i perhaps got 20 sodas, i did not get my monies worth form that plan, due to long lines at the bars. - Private Island Half Moon Cay: great location, had some fun there. Also not stroller friendly. NOTHING INCLUDED on the island, everything is extra. I guess the $2500 cruise was not enough to cover not even sodas/snacks on the island. Agian, 2 kids in our party for 4+ hours on the island. The island is a money maker, not customer satisfaction oriented. OVERALL: Price Quality - we spent close to $2500 for an awful experience (see above). Nothing was done to accommodate it. There are other options out there for a better, more quality cruise experience.Embarkation
