The best experience ever!!!! by TomNAsh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I truly can't just pick one thing from the moment it started till the moment it was over, I truly enjoyed myself! My boyfriend and I couldn't help but notice the these three workers who really made our stay and experience that much better: Benjamin who was our favorite bartender, Carlos who was an amazing server for our dinners and just off the first night he remembered my boyfriends allergic to chocolate and made she everything was handled with care just for him! And Gabriel who cleaned our room and brought us any extra towels or amenities he was just a god send, and every time he cleaned our cabin he would make awesome little towel animals! Literally my favorite part made us laugh every time we got back into the room!!!

My husband And I celebrated our anniversary on Conquest.  It was our first cruise and we loved every minute of it. Our most memorable moment was when we dined at the Conquest Steakhouse. The service and food experience was first class all the way. The staff was attentive and friendly.

50 Birthday Celebration by kensteele55

The comedy show, shows and bingo was my favorite.

My worse experience getting locked in bathroom stall for 30 minutes.  They had to break door to get me out.  I was not compensated.

Never Again by dgarrett3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

First time on Conquest and last time. Would not recommend to anyone.

The staff wasn't friendly at all. If you didn't speak they didn't speak, including the people at the buffet line serving you food. Food wasn't good and not a lot of choices to  choose from.

Too many bars closed early.  Entertainment was just OK.

Im going back to Royal Caribbean or Norwegian Cruise line.

So many people were  complaining and saying the same thing.

Only person that made my trip was the bar waiter 1 Wayne at the adult only area.

1st Cruise was a blast! by audinjones

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our favorite part of the cruise was the ports, we really enjoyed getting out and seeing the other cultures.

Our server (Ferdinand) at dinner was great as well which made us want to go to dinner every night in the main room.

We wish there would have been more to do on the cruise ship, the comedy shows were a bit too vulgar for us, and there weren't many other options for a couple to do. We were hoping for broadway type shows or more shows to do, but there was a lot of just walking around trying to find stuff to do to keep us busy on the shop.

Mall in all it was a great experience for our honeymoon!

Conquest cruise review by shipwreck76

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My favorite part of the cruise was being able to relax and enjoying all activities available upon the ship. The storeroom attendants were awesome. I was not happy with the organization of the public dining on the Lodi deck. Long lines and flies everywhere. The embarking and debating process was very slow. I would not recommend this ship to Royal Carribbean cruisers.

Awesome by kimkjohn

My favorite part of the curies was the ship, everything was so exciting and a lot to do. The tours was great as well.Love   I would like to make a suggestion. Ass for the drinking package and prepay as you go was horrible and paying out standing in as line to pay .64 for 2 hours. It needs better organization and  better planning. I am not a drinker but had dto pay for the drinking package. Being that I am a social drinker I should have had a smaller limit with less cost. That Package doesn't accommodate everybody only the ppl who drink excessively.

Very unprofessional by claritaleake1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had to stand in longer than usual lines to check-in to get our sail-in-sign cards and aboard the ship.  Nobody told us what the hold up was. We stood for hours to the point my 67 year old mother passed out and had to have wheel chair assistance.  On the second day of the cruise, my daughter had a fever so I was giving her medicine and asked if I could get some chicken broth and they told me that I would have to go see the medical doctor in order to get the broth.  There was no need to see a doctor when she was already taking medicine and just needed broth to keep from dehydration. After I went to guest services upset and crying the representative (NaTasha) called room service to get it authorized.

Lastly, towards the end of the cruise I was able to enjoy myself a little and took some pictures with my family.  I went to review the photos and one of the representatives by the name Alroy accused me of taking pictures with my phone and started shouting at me in front of my child and other cruise guest saying, "I'm not blind you are taking pictures with your phone."  He became very aggressive with me and I told him to get out of my personal space. I advised him that I was not taking a picture with my phone.  Now grated my phone was in my hand but it was not on. I have never been so humiliated in my life.  This is my fifth cruise and I always spend a lot of money on board.  I have no reason to steal.  I have never experienced anything like this on any other cruise.  It only takes a few bad apples to spoil a bunch.  In my case, I came in contact with too many bad apples. Very disappointed with this cruise.

not all bad by snyderfam21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Being with family was the favorite part of cruise.  But for as customer service of the cruise needs improvement. Activities overlap, not many but the ones they have overlap, comedy shows were great.  All of the entertainment that we were able to make it to was good.  Just the top shows and/or performances were too close to get to the other shows prior to starting.  Bingo customer service was horrible the set-up was terrible, walk in to one person as soon as there is a line, "just sit down we will get to you" ok that fine but now others come in you assisted them with a  bingo card no problem.  You hold your paper up to get a bingo card, the staff walk pass you like you not even there.  I'm trying to avoid the race card but it was almost obvious. Casino was ok,  there is a point system in which you can reach to get free drinks the rest of the cruise, once accrued these points you get up to 15 drinks a day in the casino,  ok at 1st had no problem with a waiter and/or waitress but once received the points for free drinks they stop coming, rude bartender in casino stating " I couldn't use my sign and sail card because of the free drinks card" , explained there wasn't a server on the floor, "you have to on a server"  Waited over 30 min at a machine to get 1 drink, prior speaking to a manager and he found a waiter, name Christin that was very nice and came back in a few minutes to get me another drink.  You would think if I'm spending my money, shouldn't be a problem getting drinks, even if they are free.  Set-up through Hilton Honors have appox. 9 rooms of people, asked if we could be in the same area of dinning, sure as told this didn't happen,  information was set-up on everyone's room early dinning group party, just didn't book as a group, several, several months prior to cruise.  Not sure whom drop the ball but, we were all over the place different dining rooms, different levels, Carnival claimed they couldn't assist cause dinning was full.  Didn't need the same tables or nothing just in the area, so we could make plans, since its  hard to find people on ship, this didn't happen totally not as planned. Getting on the ship was horrible especially for all the 1st time cruisers that were with me, over 2hr and 45min of standing just in line, no explanation or nothing. Finally found out ship was late and Customs was clearing ship, would have been nice if some kind of announcement  was made, again customer service.  Pictures, you do better taken you own, took several pictures, went to find them, nope not there, but ask staff where might they be found, point to a stack of pictures of everyone on ship for me to search through, "stated they might be in there and/or behind other pictures" not willing to assisted at all. But you want me to look for my own pictures through almost everyone on ship (2000+) and still pay you $12 a piece plus, this is crazy.  There were certain pictures that I really wanted for memories,  Son's Graduation cruise, mom 1st cruise, almost everyone I was with 1st cruise.  You would think they wouldn't have been all about the $ and help make moments memorably, which in turns creates, return guests, more people and money. This department needs an upgrade ASAP with staff and up to date technology, where you can use picture find by sign and sale # and/or face recognition. Guy's burger great!!! Staff in Monet dinning room  were great. (Johnrey/Dana wonderful) lots of laughs, they help me over look the bad experiences.

Great time, need more organization by maaco6130

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The room, service and food on the boat was great.  Entertainment and shows had good options and a wide variety.   The only reason for three stars is our agenda changed with no explanation as to why.  This did not cause any issues with shore excursions at all.   We arrived at half moon cay late, and the crew was very disorganized. Since there is no dock at that location you have to use tenders to ferry you back and forth.   Several (not ours) shore excursions were cancelled for lack of staff.  By the time we were on a tender (you take a number, we were a low number) half the day was over.  We had only 1.5 hours on island before we had to leave.  The boat left this location late, returning to Fort Lauderdale the next morning late as well.  Getting off the boat was horrible.   No organization, no smooth transition.   We had to be out of room at 9am.  We sat in a hallway for 2 hours before our deck was called (deck 8, fourth one called).  If they are going to arrive late, at the very least let guests stay in their rooms until their deck is called.  We paid a lot for a premium room, service the day of arrival should have been premium as well.

very disorganized by meanyny

Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

the movie choises on the last night of the cruise  was ok. i wish there will more buffet options, nore salad and soup options, fruits and barries. we did not go to half moon island due to long line for tickets and long line for the boat, nobody gave heads up that u need ticket to get to island, other cruise lines dont do that. i was very dissapointed and debarkation was a disaster, ive never seeng anything like it. room was spatious but carpet looked allways durty, a lot of dust all the time. pool with salt water was ok, but wooden steps were durty, my 4 years old was sitting on them and got bad rush on the back of her thighs, 3 days after cruise still has bumps on her legs. i will never go on another carnaval again. and i forgot, why cant u do the drill inside of the ship? it would be more comfortable for everyone, insted of been packed like sardenes outside, with everyone sticking to each other from sweat, discusting.

Its could have been better by NikkiDiamond01

Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I'm not one to complain but i felt this cruise ship was a little unprofessional. This was but furst trip ever so seeing the islands were amazing. But more time then needed every drink i order was a dirty cup. There was a storm in the mid of the ocean...no announcements to keep guest calm. Half more i was there for 30mins because of delays and poor communication. Most staff didnt know where anything was. All i kept hearing was "its my furst day" and walked off. At least walk me to someone who may know something. I was to cruize to Dominican republic but idk if it will be with carnival. The picture shows my birthday ice cre

cream when i got it.

Loyal Carnival Customer but had major concerns by mrswalters05

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I have some concerns while aboard our cruise. The room was not cleaned properly when we arrived to the room. We did not have everything that was supposed to be in the room (I have cruised with Carnival multiple times so I knew what to expect). We had to call for bathrobes, beach towels, and to have the bathroom cleaned. It was visibly dirty in the shower. Multiple times, we woke up to a toilet with no water. We had to call multiple times for someone to come fix it. The beds (king sized, sofa-bed, and overhead bed) were already turned down for the night upon us boarding the ship. The beds were never made with a comforter overlay the entire cruise. I pre-ordered shirts for the children and had them delivered to the room. The shirts that arrived were the wrong size. When I called about the correct sizes, the only response I received was to return it to the store on the ship and if they do not have what I need, to get my money back. Furthermore, we ate dinner in the formal dining room once the entire cruise, which was the captain's formal night. My husband ordered Salmon, which came to the table completely raw in the middle. The head chef came out to apologize, stating that they were rushing and offered to make a new one. We decided not to and ate pizza on the lido deck. When we reached Half Moon Cay (days were switched upon boarding the ship, which wasn't a bad thing as it spaced out the 3 days of destinations), there was a major delay in getting everyone off of the ship onto the taxi boat to the island. We did not start the debarking process until after 10am, which became an issue because we had to be back on the ship by 3pm. Needless to say, we did not get off of the ship until after 12noon and had to rush with everything. I had plans for some water sports with the family but was not able to do any of it because it was already booked/taken and we did not have enough time. It was definitely a disappointment, especially because the island was absolutely beautiful, the best I have seen. Finally, the day of debarkation, there was another mess/confusion. We were told to wait until our deck number was called to leave the ship. Everyone was mixed together, some groups were allowed to leave before others despite their decks not being called because "they were waiting for a while in the same spot". This came from staff members when asked why they were allowed to leave before others in the same area. It was very disappointing, especially when we arrived at the port late (once again). We had to leave our rooms early despite that fact, which lead to crowds of people in hallways for hours. We did not leave the ship until close to 11am. I have always been very pleased with Carnival, as it offers a pleather of options to all groups of people, no matter age, gender, etc. I was disappointed, to an extent this time as my expectations were high. This was the first time that we all traveled together as a group this large. Overall, I will always remain loyal to Carnival and continue to travel within the company, but there were things that need to be addressed.

Almost Perfect.....and then a Very Disappointing Ending! by KWBMAM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Cruise was a delight until "DISEMBARKATION which WAS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE"!

It was TOTALLY DISORGANIZED and TOOK OVER 4 HOURS to get off the ship and through customs (STANDING IN LONG LINES THE WHOLE 4+ HOURS)!

I would highly recommend the itinerary but would also highly recommend a different cruise line.

Carnival Conquest cruise May 2017 by Cruiser43250032

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I loved all the ports except Grand Cayman it was just ok. We had the best time in Honduras we had a great tour guy that took us all over the island. Mexico we rented a car and did want we wanted to which was nice. Belize we did water tubing which was really nice. The food was great in the dining area and just ok in the lido deck. The ship looked a little old it needs some work lots of rust and dirty carpets but over all we had a good time. The room was way to small for 4 people we will never do that again but we made it work.
