Recommend hanging out in the Lanai on the non smoking side. Great place to watch the ship leave ports.

Get out to the decks early on a Sea Day to get a lounge chair on the Serenity Deck.

Be careful booking a deck 6 cabin if you have kids, or if you want to sleep early. The music is very loud from about 8pm to midnight.
richarks
There are no hot tubs near the pools so this is kind of awkward. One positive though is it kept kids from monopolizing the hot tubs.

Need to allow smoking on the balcony's.

Get a balcony. Only way to go. That way you can see the ocean anytime you want!!!!!!!

The laundry room was convenient. I'll know I can pack less next time. Go to the casino in the "off" hours. There are not enough machines when it's prime time. People were standing around waiting fro someone to finish.

Balcony is well worth the upgrade.

Staff on cruise was excellent. Food was good. We are Indian vegetarian people. Tandoor food was very good. Suggestion wise i can say pizza place should prepare pizza with vegetables. But over all experience was good.

For example: The Marketplace on Lido deck is the place to be if you choose not to dress up and go to the dining room. I thoroughly enjoyed the Indian food station it was very good. I would say to use the steps to work off all that good food.

If there are arts and crafts offered, do them!

The cabins in the middle of the ship are close to everything! Good walking and running trail and lots of other outdoor activities on the top of the deck! And...walk the stairs for keep moving! I loved the coffee tables out on the deck 5! Lots of spots on the ship for noisy or not noisy corners!

Do not trust anyone (including Carnival Staff) about shopping on the islands. we had a bad experience dragged for 5 days and several thousands dollars less in my bank account. Bad return policies, misleading information and inflated prices to make you think you getting a good deal. ask a lot
familycruisings
Tip for families with young ones. The slide and kids splash area are in direct view and angle of the boats main speakers and pool area. This tends to be a problem for the times you may feel things going on are not suitable for young years or eyes.

The island views were not visible from the odd numbered suites. Would recommend even numbers.

Do not got to the art sales. Art raffles are rigged to reward who they pre-select. The art sales are a carnival show ( no pun intended). The ship says it has a dress code if they do it is not enforced..

We would definitely get a balcony room next time, in the middle of the ship versus the front.

Way Too Crowded & Loud. Music played well beyond Safe decibles, can cause hearing loss. Too roudy& Alot of drinking around small children...No ashtrays. No reasonable accommodations for diabetics. They took our glucerna & protein shakes, with No compensation. Most of the staff, were unfriendly.
rgtkia
People that have kids try to get on the top floors close to all activities for kids

Best spot for sail-away is a "secret" public area right above the bridge. Go to the fwd elevators & go to Deck 9. Walk all the way fwd on the port side and you will find a door out to a "secret" public space on the front of the ship. Since it is over the bridge you can go out on the bridge wings.
