Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Carnival Breeze and would go again in a heartbeat!  We have been raving about our experience since our return, and can't wait to book the next one.  Overall we had great experiences with the overall ship, food, and service levels.  The Piano Bar on board was fantastic - definitely recommend checking that out while you are on board!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Italian restaurant on board was amazing and our best meal on the trip! Definitely recommend paying the $15 a person to go. Also, the BBQ on sea days was delicious! Be sure to get there before it starts, as the line gets very long very quick. All of the food on board was honestly great - the only meals we were unimpressed with were in the main dining room. The food there was bland and very sub-par in comparison to the other options on board.

Entertainment

Seth at the Piano Bar was AMAZING! We found ourselves there almost every night of the trip, as it was so entertaining and such a great atmosphere. We would come on board again just to go to the Piano Bar. Definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip!

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was great and very clean from what we experienced. We constantly witnessed staff wiping things down and cleaning up after guests. Also loved the wipes on the back of the public restrooms to open the door with (I have been on two other cruise lines since and neither had these on board).

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The size of the cabin was great, however the cleanliness was sub-par. Throughout our trip we kept finding remnants from the previous occupants, such as paper bags and boarding passes/paperwork. Additionally, the desk, phone, and other items in the room were very dusty as if they had never been wiped down. We did enjoy having the ocean view without paying for it, however I personally would not get a room at the front of the ship again. We both thought that we would not suffer from sea sickness, however the front of the ship was definitely much more rough than we would have liked and also very loud from the waves. It took me a few nights to get acclimated, as the loud vibrations and sounds woke me out of a dead sleep multiple times a night.

Ship tip

We would definitely get a balcony room next time, in the middle of the ship versus the front.
