Review summary

Way too expensive. $8.00 to wash one load of clothes. Nothing like cokes are free. Lots of pot smoking aboard the boat. Carnival has become pirates of the sea to Fleece Families of All They Can. Exclusive spa for the rich! Not a friendly crew .ALL About MONEY!

Room was Small for what I paid. No real onboard activities. Bingo was a lie about the jackpot, after I paid to play. Show was OK.

Ship tip

Way Too Crowded & Loud. Music played well beyond Safe decibles, can cause hearing loss. Too roudy& Alot of drinking around small children...No ashtrays. No reasonable accommodations for diabetics. They took our glucerna & protein shakes, with No compensation. Most of the staff, were unfriendly.

Seriously? Cruising isn't for you....who does a load of laundry on a ship and if I had to $8 is no big deal! I have to give you some info...Carnival has bigger rooms than other lines. We have been on the Breeze and headed to again next Saturday, you are all wet with this review! you sound hard to please, one of these people that ate the steak and then wanted a refund...I call BS!

I can't wait to hit the Breeze again come March ! I love the Breeze and it will be my 4th trip on her. If I need laundry done or my suit dry cleaned I have them do it and I don't really care about the cost its vacation and I won't do my own laundry. I had a spa balcony cabin in July and I am no where even close to rich lol, I'm a machine operator in a plant. I booked way out and pay a little at a time and save spending money for things I want to do. I am so tierd of people crying over the smallest little things ! People you can not beat carnivals price for cruises and for all what's included. If you don't like to cruise don't book again and please don't post negative comments on here for us cruise junkies with POSITIVE attitudes about cruising.

I sailed on this ship transatlantic and loved everything about it. It is absolutely my favorite ship. I loved the decor.

Perhaps my expectations were lower than yours. I didn't expect free soft drinks. I was happy with iced tea. Didn't see anyone smoking pot. I received free laundry service due to my multiple cruises on Carnival. Carnival is known to be the lowest price cruise ship company. You can't beat their prices. Believe me, the rich do not cruise on Carnival. I met firemen, policemen, social workers, nurses and teachers on board. I did not meet one millionaire. If you are looking for a different low cost cruise line, try MSC. I love this cruise line too. It gives good value to families. Kids sail free.

I LOVED the Carvinal Breeze went last year in Sept had the best time, entrainment was excellent, food was great and I met so many wonderful people some that I still keep in touch with. The cruise was so Great that I booked again and I'm going next month and I'm super excited. And as far as laundry goes....who does laundry on vacation? And "If" I did I would except to pay for it! Becsuse I have been in high end hotels and all inclusive resorts and they NEVER do your laundry. So if that's the kind of trip you were looking for you should have researched alot better, because cruisings not for you.

I guess the drug dog at the port must have just been there for show, or they were just looking for some reason to complain, they should have just stayed home by themselves to complain about staying home , leave the cruises for people who want to have fun

Lots of pot smoking?!? We just sailed on the Breeze for the 2nd time have been on 5 other cruises, and I can tell you that not once have we encountered that. I'm hoping others reading that review will take it with a grain of salt.

Sorry it was rough, but a good way to prepare is to stay away from the lower decks (below atrium) and bring plenty of clothes to last. If you only bring two or three pairs, they get dirty and it's not enough for a 7+ day cruise. As for 6-9 day cruises, bringing about 7 pairs of clothes for on/off the ship is best. Free stuff always on a ship is never true. Things cost and that's just life.

Unless information regarding cruising was different than that read by everyone else... there wasn't a phrase anywhere that stated the described extras were FREE. If you had taken a "run of the mill vacation" you would have had the opportunity to pay for everything individually. Would you have whined less then? Every business is in business th o make a profit. All expenses are known before you use them. Do your homework, or just stay home.

Just on the Breeze this past May and loved it so much we are going back in a few weeks on another 8-day! I would never pay to do my laundry as if needed you could have done it yourself for MUCH less in the laundry rooms. He staff was GREAT! Bring your OWN cokes on the ship, which is permissible. Only extra cost for us is our alcohol & gifts we purchase.

That's all pretty common and expected on cruises. You had filet mignon and lobster for dinner for free. You can pay $3 for a Coke.

If you want free stuff book on Viking, Royal Caribbean, or Princes Cruise lines and then try another Carnival cruise then the prices will seem a lot better
