Our cruise was cut short and we missed the port we most wanted to visit. Norovirus onboard.

The ship was the largest we have cruised on but didn't seem to have as many activities that interested us as much the smaller ships. Our cabin was nice - mini suite with balcony. Our room steward was on the ball and our room was always cleaned when we left and returned. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was a relaxing cruise , the food was excelent, service was excellent , personnel were cheerful/ happy to serve and polite and the ship was clean except when we docked and the water main was sgut off having the passengers use the bathrooms before disembarkin g w/ the use of soap and water. Some I watched did not even use the sanitizers at the bathrooms . I presume this was the reason why the next cruise passengers got sick w/ the \"bug\" (incubation perios 1-3 days) after the bvirus was spread. Please do not turn off water untill all passengers disembark. Senior passengers need to go to the bathroom more often! Thanks to the cruise staff for making our cruise a very enjoyable and pleasant one!

I hesitate to write this negative of a review. I am not one of those people to go somewhere and complain about everything. I have been on several wonderful cruises (not Princess) and experienced over 35 countries, all with positive reviews. However, I feel it is important that passengers are informed of what their experience may be with this Cruise.

It seems that the corporate culture on board a Princess Cruise ship is to squeeze as much money out of the customer as possible, much like the airline industry, even at the cost of customer service. Oh, you want to drink soft drinks while on board? Your $3500 doesn't cover that, you must buy a $35 "cup". Oh, you want a decent meal? You need to go to our premium dining rooms and pay an extra $25.00 per person per meal!

The two buffet style diners on board this ship serve the worst food that I have ever had, anywhere on earth. From runny egg omlets in the morning, to Italian Gnocchi that is the consistency of mashed potatoes covered in tomato sauce. The buffets would not even be comparable to the lowest end buffet style places in your home town.  Every passenger that I spoke to had very negative reviews of the food in these cafeterias. The dining rooms were not much better. For example, I ordered the Chicken pasta that was literally, pasta covered in tomato sauce with a spoon full of chicken-in-a-can placed on top. We ended up eating pizza for 4 nights (along with hundreds of other passengers) because it was the only decent food available.

I am sad to say that this ship does not hold the Princess standards that my family and I have become used to. Starting with boarding late, to having ants in my stateroom and not being offered a new room or reimbursement (yes ants, the steward did spray, only to have the ants move into the closet with our clothing), to being told by the captain that we would be disembarking a day late (rearranging our airlines) to be told that we will be getting off only 4 hours late (I think that Princess Cruises needs to work more closely with the Port of Houston, to assist in getting the ships back into the bay). During past cruises, my family and I always seen maintenance happening, but not on this ship. Window seals were dirty, carpets dirty. Overall this was a dirty, ant infested ship. I should mention that I have tried to contact Princess Cruises directly, only to be responded with an auto generated response that I should hear from them in 1-2 weeks.

This ship has too many passengers for the amount of public space. Almost all of the lounges and the atrium area were jammed, especially at the beginning of the cruise. And "anytime" dining was a joke, with a wait of up to 40 minutes for a table for two. The food was above average (but only a little), the stateroom was great, and overall the ship's decor and cleanliness were excellent.

Management has done a good job with leading and/or maintaining good moral and consistant excellent service

The cruise itself was great, the weather was fabulous and all of the ports are lovely, I withhold that comment from Greenock which isn't so fab. The cruise director helped with my view of the ship, but the ship itself isn't so great, crowded at the best of times and hectic at it's worst. The layout doesn't help. This ship retains some features that have been removed on other similar ships. I felt it was in need of an overhaul, which to my knowledge still hasn't happened (late 2017).

I had sailed twice on the Princess Line before and ALWAYS gave it a thumbs UP, but no longer. The balcony cabins are a joke, even after sailing on the Carnival Line, which is the cheaper relative. The lines were stained and worn and the bed was lumpy. I will try Princess again, but only on one of there smaller ships.

After reading some of the other reviews, it is evident to me that some people should just stay home. I have cruised on 7 different cruise lines, and always enjoy Princess. This was my third time on the Caribbean Princess, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was delicious at all of the different restaurants, and a wonderful variety, especially the buffets. Service was impeccable, and anything that we asked for, was taken care of immediately and graciously. The staff just couldn't do enough for us. I enjoyed the 3 days at sea, there was so much to do, we just couldn't do all that we had planned. The entertainment was great, and a wonderful variety, from the comedian, magic show, to each of the musical entertainers in each lounge. Princess Cay was very relaxing, and loved the clamshell rental for shade. I suggest staying on the south side for the day if you like quieter surroundings. Aruba was beautiful as always, and enjoyed the day at the beach. I look forward to my next cruise on Princess, and thank all that made my trip a memorable one. The only negative comment I have is that the photos were too costly. I would have purchased more if they were more reasonable, although the quality was excellent.

Had a great trip. Did not like Curacao - nothing much to do there. We did the Helmet dive on Aruba and absolutely loved it. De Palm Island is a must.

This was my second cruise on the Caribbean Princess. It's a beautiful ship. I really enjoyed being on it again.

Friendly staff. Good food & lots of activities. Participating in a 5 k.

Very congenial crew. The ship however, appeared old. Old dcor, bathrooms need updating, hallways noisy, The food just ok. Very typical of cruises. Entertainment avg. All water and soda should be free for everyone,I would assume that there is enough revenue from liquor sales to pay for the free water and soda.

Wonderful time on board with tons of activities for the days at sea. The crew was friendly and polite. We liked the ease of getting around the ship.
