Review summary

This ship has too many passengers for the amount of public space. Almost all of the lounges and the atrium area were jammed, especially at the beginning of the cruise. And "anytime" dining was a joke, with a wait of up to 40 minutes for a table for two. The food was above average (but only a little), the stateroom was great, and overall the ship's decor and cleanliness were excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was average to good, especially in the dining room. The buffet was average. Having to wait for a table for two up to 40 minutes, and the refusal to take reservations for the same, is a joke. Don't offer "anytime" dining if you can't do it!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Because of general overcrowding, there were several entertainment venues that were overcrowded also. The acts themselves were good in general. We especially liked AJ Clarke (although we could never sit down to hear him) and the band Retrospect. The comic was not good.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The staff was friendly, but sometimes the quality of English spoken and understood by some of the staff was lacking.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Again, I say, the public areas are inadequate for the number of passengers.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I liked our stateroom a lot, and the size of the veranda was a surprise.

Pros: our stateroom was great!

Cons: too many people on the ship
