Much less than expected

Sail Date: July 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

I had sailed twice on the Princess Line before and ALWAYS gave it a thumbs UP\, but no longer. The balcony cabins are a joke\, even after sailing on the Carnival Line\, which is the cheaper relative. The lines were stained and worn and the bed was lumpy. I will try Princess again\, but only on one of there smaller ships.

Pros: Ion our waiter

Cons: The cabins

Recommends Caribbean Princess? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The food was OK\, but the wait staff was great - we loved Ion our waiter at table 99 in the Palm Dining Room
Cabin / Stateroom
The location was great - one that we picked.
Service and Staff
Again\, Ion our waiter and his assistant were GREAT
Entertainment
The shows were only about 1/2 hr and only average. The shows on the Carnival were better with a larger theater too.
