Ask for extra bedding. Book all reservations for dining before the cruise. Book a 7 days cruise. 6 days does not give you enough time on the island to really explore.

Make sure you reserve everything you can before you board otherwise you probably won't be able to do what you want to do.

Book your reservations for the RipCord I-Fly and North Star before the cruise. They completely book up by the end of the first day of the cruise.

Book IFLY early as the reservations are limited. You can also do standby and go on more than once. Many people did this. Little known is the puzzle room. You can book on the Royal IQ app but have to know where to look. Go to seaplex desk and ask about it.

If you don't book an on board activity on these larger ships BEFORE you get on board, you will NOT be able to once you're on board. They fill up extremely quickly. This includes your dynamic dining dinner reservations, your sports activities, your spa treatments, and any shows you'd like to see.

You have to make reservations for the main shows which is something new, cannot just walk in and also better to make reservations for dinner, even though it is gives the impression you can eat when you want to. I liked old way better, nice Broadway shows every night.

For a very large ship, there was never a long wait for lounges at the pool areas - there are so many. In addition at the Windjammer Cafe (buffet) service was excellent and it didn't take more than a few minutes to get table.

BE PREPARED TO HAVE A FABULOUS CRUISE WITH A VERY ENJOYABLE CRUISE DIRECTOR (ABE HUGHES). YOU WILL BE DELIGHTED WITH CHOICES OF FOOD AND VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF. ONE TIP IS DO NOT BRING YUR OWN BOOZE ON BOARD BECAUSE IT WILL BE CONFISCATED. IF YOU DO, HIDE IT IN CLOSETS WHERE NO ONE WILL CHECK.

Book onboard activities and restaurants prior to cruising to guarantee you can participate. (Although they do have standby lines for most if not all)
