Anthem of the Seas

7 Night Bermuda & Boston (Cape Liberty Roundtrip)

Sail date: May 14, 2016

Ship: Anthem of the Seas

Cabin type: Balcony

Cabin number: 7186

Traveled as: Family (older children)

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Review summary

The cabins were larger and the ship up to date on technology.  I did not care for dynamic dinning.  Reservations were made but every night was a different time making it difficult to remember while in vacation mode.  The crew seemed to be inexperienced and we later found out there were a larger than normal number of new crew on this ship.  The WOW bands are not available at free charge.

BTW, they charge an 18% gratuity at the Bionic Bar for the robot bartenders.

I agree about charging you for each flush. I think it will be more like a dollar a flush (don't forget about the extra 18 % gratuity) At least they should Hand you the toilet paper or wipe your --- for you.

I was also on Quantum in March 2015 and wrist bands were free. Now they charge $5 per person? Its shit like that which pisses me off. Handing them $5 so that it's easier for me to spend more money on their ship. The nickel and dime effect needs to stop. I'd rather they charge me $30 per band and work it / hide it into my reservation cost. Pretty soon these cruise lines are going to charge you a quarter everytime you flush their toilet. Now that'd be some shit.. (pun intended.)

Jack 48, the piano bar is in the Schooner Bar on deck 5.

They give the band's to those in suites but others can buy them. We didn't see a need for them, we just used our room keys. There were an inordinate number of new crew members but they were very nice and helpful.

We cruised on the Quantum of The Seas in March of 2015 . The bands were given at no cost. You mean they charge for them now?

Wow bands were $5 each. Wondering if we can bring them on our next cruise and have them reprogrammed?

Oh ok thank you!

It's a wrist band you use instead of carrying around your room card. I think they are $20
