Have people get on the ship in stages. It was very crowded on that very first day to eat. Wonderful after that. Plenty of places to eat for the number of people on board.

Book your show reservations and evening dining ahead of the cruise. Our friends we traveled with did this for us and it made the trip more enjoyable. Always had a common time for the group together at the end of the day.

We really enjoyed hanging out on the Promenade at the Bow and Stern and people watching in the evening - there was always something interesting going on!

Study the map before you embark! We did a lot of walking before we figured things out. Do recreational activities early, before the lines are long and the sun is too hot.

Excellent experience for this wonderful cruise ship. Make sure you book all the dining time and shows prior to the cruise sailing.

If you choose My Time dining, book your dinner reservations before the cruise as many of the more popular time slots fill up quickly. This wasn't a big issue for us as we just had to adjust our schedules a bit. Also, definitely pre book any shows as they also fill up quickly.

Don't believe the negative you might read about big ships being so crowded and to big it wasn't and someone said Allure was at full capacity.

Be prepared to walk. Don't bother with uncomfortable shoes. Expect to take at least 3 full days in order to have a chance to see the entire ship and enjoy all the venues, before you feel like you've seen it all.
