After being on the Allure of the Seas ship you would not want to go on any other. I never felt any motion sickness. I forgot at times I was on a ship. Looking forward to taking our grandson on a cruise when he gets older.

Service and Staff

Ann Marie in the main dining room was absolutely amazing. Very personable, gave recommendations on which food would be good. Her assistant was very good also. Our room steward was wonderful. Our room was always fresh when we returned. Loved the animals he made out of towels. Very homey.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The entire ship was so clean. I never saw any trash anywhere. The running/walking path was spot on clean. There was always someone working on the rails and the life boats. Never a dirty dish on the various restaurants. A lot of crew members were on top of all areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was amazed on how spacious our cabin was. Enough room that you didn't feel cramped. It was always clean when we came back. Very comfortable.
Ship tip
Take advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Try everything at least once. Try all the restaurants.
In one of our big group cruises, a couple used the patches, placed behind the ear I believe. Worked well and they were able to really enjoy the cruise.
I take the pill as soon as I park my SUV. lol Only was seasick once on Empress so I refuse to ever let that feeling come again. Than I take one of the 24hour non drowsy ones every morning so that it don't interfere with a drink. lol
Take the seasick meds with you if there is any history. Even without ship rocking movement just the sight of the ocean horizon against a horizontal surface on the ship can be unpleasant for some people. Also, eastern Caribbean cruises or any others near the Atlantic may have wind as the culprit in addition to waves. Big beautiful ship, but the Atlantic ocean has the last word.
I guess so. I've only been on Allure twice we had good weather both times. we went through a storm one night but I guess the sea wasn't rough. I could feel the Disney Fantasy move but we didn't get sick
You,can feel the motion of the ship on the lower decks, unfortunately my dining room was the lowest of all three and I felt ill. I couldn't finish my dinner but was able to get pills free from the medical suite which did the trick.
we took our son in March he turned two this month he loved it and wants to go again lol. he turned one on Disneylast fantasy. he is already been on as many cruises as I had before he was born
