After our wonderful honeymoon cruise on Allure of the Seas we are now cruisers. I have booked two more cruises for 2018. I would recommend a travel agent. Marsha Hughes with BJ's travel made our experience perfect and answered every question I had.

We flew down to Fort Lauderdale the same day as embarkation. I would not recommend the bus service from the airport to the port by Royal Caribbean. The driver was demanding tips the entire ride and when we departed from the bus. Royal Caribbean refund our money no questions asked. We had no wait time and moved quickly onto the boat.

I did not put much thought into planning our honeymoon since I was planning the wedding. We had my time dinning and enjoyed the American Icon Grille. We were able to sit with our same waiter the nights we dinned in American Icon Grille. We upgraded to the specialty dinning package and were pleased. Izzumi's, and Chops were wonderful. Sabor was not what we were expecting. The restaurant was loud and was an average dinning experience.

We were never board on the ship. Since we were not able to stop in St. Kitts we ending up with four days at sea. Royal Caribbean quickly sent out new passes and made sure everyone was entertained.

Loved our balcony stateroom. Also loved being mid ship and near the elevators. Getting around a large ship like Allure was a breeze,
Ship tip
This is the first time my husband and I have cruised as adults. We would recommend to pre pay gratuities before hand. Also, tipping is already included with the drink package at 18%. In the future we will just tip for exceptional serive.
Took a snorkeling trip and had a great time. We were so exhausted from wedding festivities and travel that we just hopped right back on the ship and enjoyed the empty pool deck.
St Thomas is my favorite port. Love getting off the boat and their taxi's are waiting. They are only $4 per person and will take you to the beach or shopping. We also feel in love with Imperial Jewelers. Family owned and great service.
My husband and I opted for the express disembarkation where you carry your luggage off yourselves. We did not have to wait until customs. Customs is an absolute breeze with their mobile app. Royal Caribbean does a great job with explaining customs and the disembarkation process.
Dottie we booked the next two also with RC. We loved the service and staff. We also had a problem with the bus transportation from airport to terminal and they refunded in full.
You could not have picked a better ship to get you hooked on cruising! So glad that you had a great time. Congratulations on the wedding and your newly discovered love for cruising! May all of your future cruises be just as enjoyable as your cruise on Allure!
