Review summary

We had a great time. My wife had been looking forward to Mama Mia and it didn't disappoint her. The water show was also excellent. Our 17 year old girls loved the trip and we all hated to leave.

Embarkation

Very quick, with little waiting time. Monika, who checked us in, was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate a request we had.

Mama Mia was incredible, with some of the scenes being better done than the movie. The water show was also spectacular. It was amazing to watch the high diving at sea.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch service all the way. Sandy, our room attendant, often went out of his way to greet us in the hallway, and handled several special requests. Our wait staff was very memorable. Asst. waiter Shane, waiter Jean Jose (JJ), and head waiter Mahendra gave outstanding service while keeping us very entertained. We grew very close to them and miss them very much.

Ship tip

Some of the "tips" about the ship I found online were outdated due to the ship refit a few years back. For example, the rear public balconies are gone.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

We picked the trip for the ship, not the destinations. But Cozumel was outstanding as usual, as we always go diving with Roberta's Scuba Shack.

Disembarkation

We did a lot more standing in line debarking than embarking. The line for customs was very long, but moved well.

I know the feeling about leaving. Oasis class ships are my favorite...have done Oasis and Allure and will do Harmony this Feb along with two other upcoming cruises in Dec and April: Navigator and Anthem. Hope you all will come back to cruising again.
