Review summary

This was only our second cruise, but I'm not sure how another will ever be able to match this experience. The ship was outstanding--beautiful and had venues for everyone. The food was outstanding-and the service was above and beyond. The variety and quality of the entertainment was as high as any theaters we've been to in Chicago where we live. Our accommodations were very comfortable and our cabin steward was attentive. If you're looking for a relaxing get away this is the vacation for you. A great value for your dollar. Was fun to see so many families and wishing we'd brought ours along.

Ship tip

Book your show reservations and evening dining ahead of the cruise. Our friends we traveled with did this for us and it made the trip more enjoyable. Always had a common time for the group together at the end of the day.

Great review and glad you had a wonderful time. It was also nice to read your reference to the theaters back home to provide some frame of reference. Allure is a fabulous ship but there are other really nice cruise experiences that are different but still enjoyable. Also for some itineraries such as Mediterranean or Arabian seas, smaller ships are still the best hotel resorts to get you to those more exotic ports. Keep in mind that your Royal Caribbean loyalty credits count on Celebrity.
