Review summary

Great ship, and overall a good cruise. The crew was difficult to interact with at times, because of language, but not too bad. Was disappointed to be nickeled and dimed in the spa and cleanliness of the room.

We traveled with a group of 8, and despite having reserved dining, half of our group was placed in "anytime" dining. It took a day, and talking to three different crew members to get our group sitting together.

I celebrated my birthday while on this cruise. The Spa sent me a 50$ gift card stating it was for any body or face service. I scheduled a 59$ 20 min foot massage. when I arrived for the appointment the manager made a multitude of excuses and refused to honor the gift card.

When we checked in there was a huge stain on our couch. We asked the steward to have it cleaned. He had a manager come to see us the next day and told us it would be cleaned. It never was. We complained to the housekeeping manager, and received a 100.00 credit. Disgusting!

I didn't mention in my review of Allure that we got switched from Reserve dining to Any Time dining after we had been confirmed for reserved dining for over 6 months. We got it resolved immediately upon getting on board. Still a good tip/comment that allure, maybe oasis class cruisers, need to check to see if their seapass card dining assignment matches their reservation. Note: Dear wife thinks I bring too much paper on cruises but it was nice to be able to hold that piece of paper in front of someone at Guest Services and then at the MDR in order to get the change done quickly :-) (Note 2: Dear wife is still right! )

Our couch on the Radiance was really stinky so we requested it be removed. I nearly put it out into the hallway. They came and cleaned it and then we had a giant fan for a day. It did help some.
