Review summary

Obviously the most enjoyable part of the cruise was the food. From morning breakfast at the Windjammer to the ont time dining at night. The staff and food were top notch. We were a party of 20 and had two tables right next to each other and when I say we were well taken care of, it would be an understatement. I just enjoy cruising, so I never left the ship. However on the days at sea the pools (all 8 of them) were extremely overcrowded People saving chairs and kids runnning and bumping into you were the worst part. All in all the cruise was a great experience and I can't wait to do it again. As a matter of fact we are booked in Feb. 2018 on the Freedom Of The Seas.

One other thing is that the drink pkgs. should be a little more flexible. I should be able to buy more than one drink at time, if I had a guest with me.

we caalled him Phil and he was on deck 3 and worked with Rogue and Oscar n the main dining room. He was a fantastic server and so sociable. We had a lot of fun with him and i n turn left him something extra. Also Melville took care of the cabin and he was remarkable. al;so left him an extra stypen. But to be fair all the staff were extremely courteos and very professional.

Melville took very good care of us and the cabin was always clean and well supplied. A great asset to your Royal Caribbean staff.

Ship tip

Try Giovanni"s Restaurant, the Schooner bar, the Bow & Stern Pub< Sorrento's and all the shops on Deck 5.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise and thanks for the detailed review. I'm sure the staff on any cruise ship appreciate being recognized for their good work. We will be on Allure in November December of this year and look forward to enjoying it as much as you did. Now that we are empty-nesters, our adult children can come with us or not but the two of us avoid the summer cruises because of the cost and the crowds. We still do the group cruises during the summer though because some people just cant vacation other times of the year such as our friends and family that teach or have students. We hope you enjoy Freedom of the Seas as much as we have. We booked our fifth cruise on Freedom of the Seas in November December 2018. We really enjoy that ship and the service they provide and highly recommend the Mystery Dinner Theater. FOS Mystery Dinner theater is the best we have experienced with an outstanding performance, very good meal and flowing libations :-)

Glad you had a great time I can't wait to go ðð»ðð»ð but if the other guests u are getting drinks for don't have a package I don't think it's unreasonable for the bar man to say no or everyone would just buy 1 package per group

The package is per person. Sharing is not allowed. The adult guest is responsible for himself/herself and can purchase a drink or the package.

you can buy more than one if you have your guests sea pass card and they purchased the package too.
