If you're 60+ and looking for peace and quiet DO NOT book a cruise when school is out. I didn't give that a thought and paid the price.

Please remember to hold your door when it closes. The people next to us just let theirs slam every single time regardless of the time of day. Incredibly rude.

Don't expect much in the form of service. Excursion Staff was rude and unwilling to help (even when the issue was their fault). The dining staff was not efficient. Set your expectations lower and you will be fine.

On port days you can go to the peekaboo deck. You don’t see the crew working as the ship is not moving, but it was interesting.

Don’t go on this old ship, go on a newer ship that’s equipped to handle the pandemic protocols and serves up much better food

Just get ready for a ship that may be smaller than say Liberty of the Seas but you wouldn’t know it. It has just as many venues, activities, shows, and great crew as any of the bigger ships. I believe that you will like a lot about Adventure of the Seas!!!!’

AOS is the perfect size with lots to do for families with kids. We have been on AOS a couples times and definitely would book on her again!

They serve mixed drinks with soda from a 2 liter. It's usually extremely flat. I'd recommend buying a can of soda to go with your drink. The soda plan is not worth it. There are only 4 freestyle machines on the whole boat and they are constantly out of most options.

Just remember that this ship does not have glass balconies so you do not get the same view as you do with other ships. All the aft-facing balconies are obstructed.

Relax, don't try to do everything. Pick several things and enjoy the rest of the day. You won't need all of the clothes you bring, but bring a jacket if you are cold natured.
