This was our third cruise on Royal Caribbean and it was the nicest of the three. I thought the ship was beautiful and the service was very good. I would definitely sail on the Adventure of the Seas again.

Food and Dining

Breakfast in Main dining room: Not very good. Food was unpredictable, limited menu and not hot. We went to Wind jammer on day 4 and wow! Hot and delicious and better options.
Dinner in Main dining room: Good to very good. Most dinners were good, food was hot and tasty. I made the mistake of ordering the mushroom risotto-it was awful. The waiters were great and offered to bring another entree, but I was good with the appetizer and bread. FYI-the butter they serve is delicious and I ate a lot of bread and butter.
Lunch-we had lunch at the Wind Jammer and Chops. The Wind Jammer lunch is pretty good. The staff serves you. It’s the usual buffet food. Everything I chose was good.
Chops lunch: I had the colossal shrimp and it was very good. My filet mignon was delicious. Perfectly medium rare! The sides were disappointing, Mac and cheese was bland. I ordered the key lime pie for dessert and took it back to the room for later, it was not the best.
Promenade Cafe: pizza was very good, mozzarella salad and salami and small sandwiches were yummy. The desserts and cookies were hit the spot and the coffee was very fresh in the morning. That was a delightful surprise, Tried the matcha cream puff-yuck.
Room service: there must have been a half and half shortage. I keep getting Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer. I’m a coffee and half and half person, so I was not too happy. The chocolate donuts did not disappoint. It was a fun treat.
Onboard Activities

Because for Covid, we stayed away from large groups. The hot tubs were over the limit all the time. We just stayed away.

Given the times, Covid, the staff was very good. If something wasn’t right, they fixed it! Great service.

We love the size of the ship and it was well maintained and very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We Royaled up to Panoramic Oceanview oversized cabin. It was perfect! Got to see amazing stars. You do feel a little more movement on deck 12, but we were so comfortable. The room was very clean and our steward was great.
Ship tip
On port days you can go to the peekaboo deck. You don’t see the crew working as the ship is not moving, but it was interesting.
It was hot! I just don’t understand why the town is so dirty. The Malecon is starting to get cleaned up. The vendors are everywhere
I don’t mind them. Be careful with the beach clubs. They tried to charge us a chair and umbrella fee after we were told we only needed to order food and drinks.
