This was a fantastic cruise, less than 30% capacity so not the real cruising experience.
I feel sorry for the staff being out of work, but I am glad that I had the chance to experience an "empty" ship on this cruise. Our last cruise was in December 2019 so we were just happy to be back on board, the ports did not matter to us.

The escargot was always cold, I had to ask for it to be heated extra. It used to arrive at the table bubbling. Other items were barely warm, but this could be to low staff etc.

Everyone was very friendly. We did find our room steward very eager to enter our room after knocking, we barely had a chance to respond to him and he was opening the door. I have never experience that before.

A few tough stains on the carpet in our cabin and in the hall. Otherwise the ship was in ship shape!

Ship tip
Just remember that this ship does not have glass balconies so you do not get the same view as you do with other ships. All the aft-facing balconies are obstructed.
Flew in to Houston the day before, the port is far away from international airports. 1 hour and 20 minutes from IAH to our Galveston Hotel, no traffic.
Very easy with face recognition. We are Canadian guests so we had the added bonus of getting a PCR test before returning home in the cruise terminal. The PCR Tests are not free as of February 1st.
