The ship was remarkably huge with alot of things to do, yet at times I felt as if I was not an important client.

FIRST TIME CRUISING by DarrylA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

THE FOOD WAS DELIGHTFUL. IT SEEMED TO ME DURING THE FINAL TWO DAYS, THE BREAKFAST INCLUDED TOO MUCH GREASE AMONG OTHER THING.(ex. HOMEFRIES, SAUSAGE AND FRENCH TOAST WAS HARD, HOT CEREAL WARM). SAILING WAS VERY SMOOTH. OUR STATEROOM ATTENDANT WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ACCESSIBLE. I WISHED THERE WAS A BILLARDS ROOM. I DO ENJOY A GOOD GAME OF POOL. WE REQUESTED BEFORE HAD REFRIGERATION. IT IS OUR UNDERSTANDING COOLERS ARE NOW PROVIDED. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IF YOU'RE TAKING MEDICATION REQUIRING REFRIGRATION. PREHAPS THAT IS SOMETHING TO RECONSIDER.

THE BEST EVER by RobertaL2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

THE SHIP WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE PROMONADE WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND I FELT AS IF THERE WAS SO MUCH MORE ROOM. THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING GOING ON AT NIGHT THERE AND YOU COULD JUST SIT THERE AND EITHER LISTEN TO MUSIC OR WATCH A BALL GAME. IT WAS FABULOUS. WE SPENT EVERY NIGHT IN THE PIANO BAR WITH "BARRY FROM BOSTON" WHO I HAVE TO SAY WAS PROBABLY THE BEST ENTERTAINER I HAVE COME ACROSS ON MY SEVEN ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES. HE HAD THE BAR CROWDED EVERY NIGHT AND IT WAS ALWAYS JUMPING. HIS VOICE AND PIANO PLAYING WERE EXCEPTIONAL. HIS ELTON JOHN NIGHT AND HIS BROADWAY NIGHT WERE THE HITS OF THE CRUISE. I ALSO ENJOYED THE PARADES AND THE POOLSIDE GAMES. THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT AND EVERY PORT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED CURACO AND ARUBA.

Best Cruise Ever by SybilW

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

This was our third cruise with Royal Carribean and it just keeps getting better each time. This was the largest ship we have gone on and it had everything we would want or need. The shows were wonderful and the service outstanding from the room steward to the waiters at mealtimes. Everyone with the cruise line were so helpful and friendly. We felt like family when we departed at the end.

Cruising like you never have before! by KJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We just went on the Adventure of the Seas and we love it. Our room was an Ocean View and was impressed with the size of the room except the bathroom which is small enough for one person. The ship has a nice decor with a great, big impressive chandelier. Dining was great also and the staff gives 110% to accomodate your every need. Variety of plates (lobster and shrimp especially)and drinks(so many to choose from). We met great people from other countries at our table. The waiters attend to your every need. There are several pools and jaccuzzi some of which are for adults only which is good. The Windjammer is on the same floor of the pool so after a dip you can go in and eat if you are hungry. Their breafast is the best but for a buffet the many options and the variety of food at every meal satisfies and it tasted great. The shows like the Gaucho and the Ice shows were impressive. The singers are of great quality. (one sang a Whitney Houston just as good as the singer herself). I think that says a lot. Nice clubs if you are into that. We did love the Latin night and the latin group that played. Also, i could not ask for better port options. I would definetly recomment this ship to anyone. It was the best!

Cruising is the way to go.... by JuliR

We absolutly love the Adventure of the Seas! This was our 2nd time sailing on it and we have invited several of our family members and friends, and they too have sailed more than once on it! It has everything to offer from solitude to party life. This time we brought our childres (ages 8, 10, and 12) and they had a blast! I felt very comfortable having them go as a trio on their own and enjoy all the ship has to offer from the basketball court, ice skating, rock climbing, age appropriate groups, etc.

A Singularly sensational experience by KennethY

Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The ship truly is one of the worlds wonders. The windjammer food court area was always immaculate, and well supplied with a good and good tasting aray of food. The three tiered dining room is breathtaking in it's beauty. The service of the dining room staff was worthy of the room. We took this cruise two years ago. Sometimes when you do something the second time, there's a diminishing of awe, not on this ship. There 's nothing that can't be found in the shops aboard ship, and the prices were fairly competitive with the shops at home. As for activities and entertainment, Royal Caribbean hit the ball out of the park again. We took in shows and availed ourselves of many onboard activities , and of course relaxation. The centrium area is just beautiful. There is nothing on this ship not to love. Let me hasten to add a line about the views. Those you see as you approach the islands, when you dock, ( a process everyone should see ), as you leave, and perhaps the view after you have left. You see so, so much beautiful sky, as far as you can look left or right. You are left with a sense of reletive insignifigance when compared with the vastness of the panoramma. Did I tell you about the sights on the islands ? They are everything I ever dreamed they would be, and more. We have cruised seven times, and I can't wait to get out there again.

Cruising Vision of the Seas by ValareC

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Clean, but old appearring ship. Good food but additional restuarants would have been nice. Nice entertainment but lacked the "wow" factor. Very helpful staff, very professional and yet very friendly and personal. I wish I would have taken more time when selecting a ship, paying more attention to the ports/number of days at sea vs. ports and the ammeneities provided. So this ship was really nice, I just would select something more for the next cruise.

The best cruise we have ever taken by TeenaG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We just returned form a trip on The Adventures of the Seas. This was the best of all the cruises we have ever taken. The balcony room on the fantail was wonderful. It was so roomy and since it was the 180 degree view everything was fantastic to see. You could see the people coming back from the ports to board the ships and see the ships next to you when leaving the ports. The alternative dinning was great. You did not have to go to the formal dinning room if you did not want to because nine out of ten times you could get the same thing that was on the menu there. Also they had regular food for example tuckey mashed potatoes and gravy instead of those fancy foods that you are sometimes not so sure of and afraid to try. The service up there is just as good also. The swimming pools were clean and it was easy to get a chair at any of them since there were so many. Also most of the younger children are at the waterslide pool in the kids zone. The hot tubs were great and you could always find room in them plus we loved the fact that some of them were covered with umbrellas to keep out of the direct sun if you desired. The ice rink show was wonderful. There were so many options on things to do that it was difficult to decided at times what to do. The never ending fountain pop is a wonderful option and there ample places to get you drinks no matter what deck you are on. The interior is beautifull and the glass elevators are wonderfull so that you can see down into the shopping area instead of looking at blank walls. I also thought it was nice to have the day of the week in the carpet in each elevator so you could keep track of time because out there you tend to forget. The ship was in good repair and clean and we would love to take another cruise on this ship again.

A good cruise by AlexandraM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

I've had nicer staterooms on other ships. Our room had a bit of a disinfectent smell, but I understand that they are being very careful because of illnesses. Our cabin steward was wonderful. The waitstaff in the dining room wasn't great, but the head waiter was terrific. Considering the size of the ship, most of the food was fine. The ship looked very nice - impressive artwork in the public areas.

A fantastic voyage! by ElaineK2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The size of the ship, at first galnce, was overwhelming. However, once on board it was quite easy to get around and was laid out very well. There were many options to choose from as to where to eat, be entertained or to just relax. All the ports were wonderful and they each had their own something unique. I would recommend this itinery, ship and cruise line to anyone.

Good First Cruise by a688218

Good first cruise - gave us a feel for what cruising is all about. Definitely loved our balcony stateroom. Food on ship was good in main dining room for supper. Buffet was OK. Lots of traditional cafeteria style food and very few plant based options. Crew was excellent.
