Review summary

We just returned form a trip on The Adventures of the Seas. This was the best of all the cruises we have ever taken. The balcony room on the fantail was wonderful. It was so roomy and since it was the 180 degree view everything was fantastic to see. You could see the people coming back from the ports to board the ships and see the ships next to you when leaving the ports. The alternative dinning was great. You did not have to go to the formal dinning room if you did not want to because nine out of ten times you could get the same thing that was on the menu there. Also they had regular food for example tuckey mashed potatoes and gravy instead of those fancy foods that you are sometimes not so sure of and afraid to try. The service up there is just as good also. The swimming pools were clean and it was easy to get a chair at any of them since there were so many. Also most of the younger children are at the waterslide pool in the kids zone. The hot tubs were great and you could always find room in them plus we loved the fact that some of them were covered with umbrellas to keep out of the direct sun if you desired. The ice rink show was wonderful. There were so many options on things to do that it was difficult to decided at times what to do. The never ending fountain pop is a wonderful option and there ample places to get you drinks no matter what deck you are on. The interior is beautifull and the glass elevators are wonderfull so that you can see down into the shopping area instead of looking at blank walls. I also thought it was nice to have the day of the week in the carpet in each elevator so you could keep track of time because out there you tend to forget. The ship was in good repair and clean and we would love to take another cruise on this ship again.

Since the natural brige has fallen I think that it is a waste of time to go there.
Don't Miss: The light house is nice and the downtown shopping and building are beautiful

Willemstad, Curacao

its is a waste of time to ride the ferry over to town because it takes so long to get there and back you are afraid that you will miss the boat if you take a mornig tour.
Don't Miss: The dolphin acadamy and dolphin swim is a don't miss
