Family Vacation on the Adventure of the

Sail Date: March 26, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship looked slightly worn. Not as crisp as the Serenade of the Seas

Pros: Itenerary and dining room service.

Cons: Annoying ship's photographers

Curacao
Discover Snorkel with Kontiki Beach Break was disappointing after De Palm Island. Not much to see, Beach is nice.
Don't Miss: Boarding the ship on time.

Oranjestad, Aruba
Shopping is not impressive unless you are looking for a wheel of Gouda cheese.
Don't Miss: Must take the Aruba off-road adventure. Snorkling at De Palm Island was outstanding for beginners. Plenty of 24" blue parrot fish to admire.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Eco Boat, Hike and Snorkel of Cas Cay was a waste of time. What you will see was grossly overstated in the description. Maybe over the course of a year...
Don't Miss: BOB Underwater Adventure is fantastic for non-divers.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
This is where you shop. Best prices of all the Islands we visited.
Don't Miss: Loterie Farm Treetop Adventure was outstanding. Beware - you must be willing and able to put some work into traversing this obstacle course.
