Review summary

This was our third cruise with Royal Carribean and it just keeps getting better each time. This was the largest ship we have gone on and it had everything we would want or need. The shows were wonderful and the service outstanding from the room steward to the waiters at mealtimes. Everyone with the cruise line were so helpful and friendly. We felt like family when we departed at the end.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food both at the Windjammer and in the dining room was beyond spectacular. We looked forward to our dining time each day to enjoy the company, service and food. Our waiters were outstanding in every way. They were professional and friendly. When we cruise again, hopefully we will be able to see them again.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had the best time at the shows that were presented. There was the ice show, the music shows and the comedy shows. We attended all that we could and had such a wonderful time. There was something for everyone everyday.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward, Patrick, was outstanding. He took care of our every need and was so friendly. Keith and Claire, our waiters at dinner were also wonderful. We looked forward to our evening meals to spend time with them and the others at our table. All the service we received from the staff was outstanding and the willingness to do more was evident.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship was the ultimate for us. We have cruised twice before with RC and this was the largest. It had everything we could want. The decorations were beautiful and tastefully done in all areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Even though we had an inside room this time, we were very comfortable and everything was perfect. We had enough room to store all our clothes and essentials. We were only in the room long enough to shower and sleep, so this was perfect.

Ports of call

Willemstad, Curacao

We spent the day shopping here and really had a good time. Did not have enough time to tour the island so cannot really rate anything else.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Did not seem to have much to offer. We did the 4X4 tour and was not really impressed with anything we saw.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Took a tour of the island both Dutch side and French side. Were supposed to go snorkeling but the guide did not show up to take us out. We requested a refund of our tour money and was refunded 30% of it. The boat part of the tour was the most interesting and the tour guide there very informative.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

This was our favorite port. We went out to an island and went snorkeling and on an underwater adventure called the "Bob". We shopped at the shops within walking distance of the port when we returned from our water adventure and must say we enjoyed the sites of the island the most here.

Pros: The food and the shows

Cons: Cannot say because everything was wonderful
