Great first cruise, good entertainment, great staff, and good food. Will cruise again, probably not same cruise but other destinations.

Relaxing, enjoyable, and adventure by gapvidal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: Mexico

Lots of crew people to mentioned who helped and made the this cruise a fun event, but unfortunately I am poor on remembering names. My family talked about nothing else from the time we docked back about how we miss the cruise, even after one week of returning to reality. A cruise worth remembering....

Wonderful times by cpick

Nice time. Always good to get away. Food was average. Pizza and sandwhiches are the best.

Great trip! by marsar2002

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

This was my 4th cruise but my first time on a Carnival cruise. My husband and I brought our two sons (10 and 13) for their first cruise. We all had a blast! Although we wished it would have been warmer, there was lots for the kids to do and we had a good mix of family time and adult time. The food was average (not great, but not bad) but there were lots of good options for the kids to choose from. Our boys especially loved the arcade and candy store. Got a bit expensive though! We all agreed that we'd like to cruise again, but next time go when the weather is warmer so that they can utilize the pool and water slides more.

Relaxing and enjoyable Mexican Riviera Cruise by K9trainer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess / Destination: Mexico

Overall, this cruise was near seemless from beginning to end. From embarkation to disembark it was a very relaxing getaway; the food was adequate, entertainment very good, service was excellent, and the crew was the friendliest ever experienced. This cruise may have been a little heavy on sea days for some, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cruise or ship to anyone.

Fun by MarthaSilver

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

It was okay. The poo smell would go away sometime. Try not to be on a diet because there is so much food.

Great crew, fun times by uphill

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

Very enjoyable, the shows were fun, comedians were very good. Not a lot of options for vegetarians. Guys burger had no veggie burger option. Same vegetarian meal every night at the restaurant.

Not very exciting in the Sea of Cortez! by clwcruising

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

Ruby Princess is starting to show its age with backed up sinks and toilets and problems with the toilets' vacuum system (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work). The furniture and carpet are nice but nicked and worn. On the other hand, the new HD TVs were welcome, compared to the blurry older sets in the cabins. It would also help that the daily newsletter is proofread so there are no date and time mistakes and misspelled words! The front desk never answers its phones, so you have to go down and stand in line to talk to someone. The ports in the Sea of Cortez were OK, but one-time visits. We only saw whales at the mouth to the Cabo bay/Sea of Cortez entrance and the Pacific. Never saw any wildlife in the Sea of Cortez!

Great cruise and Mexico excursions by dimo1715

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Emerald Princess / Destination: Mexico

The dinners were outstanding but the LIDO deck for the buffets can be improved with the quality of meats and variety. No soft drinks available like celebrity offers, very dissatisfied. Breakfast drinks only offer orange juice. Celebrity offers orange, apple and cranberry juices. Coffee wasn't too bad. No labeling of what was half and half and other milks.

You get what you pay for by coangel816

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

You get what you pay for on this cruise. Dont expect glitz and glamour or a luxury vacation. I can't say enough about the cruise host, Benjamin. He was so much fun and made the cruise a lot better with his fun personality.

Terrible Customer Service by estrelladee23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: Mexico

I would love to share photos of the cruise but the flash drive that we paid for was empty--the photo services on board didn't load any photos despite the fact that we spent over $200 on them. This trip was one disappointment after the next. What a waste of money and vacation time.

Great trip from SF to Mexican Riviera by greggc1954

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess / Destination: Mexico

We had a great time and since live close to SF it was better than driving to Long Beach. We got more time on the ship. Princess has high quality service and shows. We were very happy. I can’t say anything negative at all. Great value for your money.

Unusual Cool weather put a damper on our trip... by Mamabear510

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

Unusual cold weather was unfortunate, limited activities indoors could have offered more options. Don't know if I'd do this cruise again...
