Review summary

Great first cruise, good entertainment, great staff, and good food. Will cruise again, probably not same cruise but other destinations.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast, easy and come early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I really didn't need soda package. Iced tea and lemonade was around, not to mention coffee and water for free. not bottle water but it was filtered.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
To cool to swim, but there was kids in pool and Jacuzzi, even some adults. Can't say what other fitness was there as I was relaxing had no interest to exercise, besides walking.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were good, one singer was pro style or should be. We did comedy shows which were funny and the dj was good but not a good selection of music. could of mixed a selection to fit everyone.

Children's Programs

we are 2 adults

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful, we enjoyed chatting with our staff, the ones we saw everyday we gotten to know. But didn't meet a staff that was not nice and helpful and friendly.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was clean, maps at every level were easy to understand.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
clean, good size, comfortable. only noise was the rudders and ropes being used, but not so bad to interrupt sleep or wake me.

Ship tip

Roam around, we went to every area just to get the feel of each area, and to have better knowledge for future cruise.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Was take off area, so just boarded and exit ship.

Catalina Island, California

5 out of 5
walked, ate ice cream and lunch. It was a beautiful stroll, no need really for golf cart. A bit pricey for trinkets, but if you look you can find a deal.

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
Looked and felt like Tijuana, ran down shacks, beggers, and basically not much worth the trip off dock.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great, got off early, listened to announcements on how lines were going.
