Mexican Riviera by Loopar24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

After not being able to cruise for several years, we were greatly looking forward to getting back on board. The ship was outstanding and the ports would have been more appealing if my wife had been feeling better. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who would like to visit the Mexican Riviera.

It was a decent cruise by dlf1018

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Overall it was decent. Reconsider how people check in for their cruise. Figure out a better, more efficient, embarkation process. Have more people working the line to get people onto the ship quicker. Standing in line for well over TWO HOURS is unacceptable!

Great trip! by Cruiser78442125

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

The cruise was wonderful great friendly staff comfortable bed great food! However my refrigerator in our room never worked and neither did the on demand movies. Getting on the boat as well as all the covid testing crap we had to go through just to get on the boat was very stressful and seemed pointless considering everyone was required to be vaccinated and tested prior to sailing and yet still I got covid on this cruise ship. Overall my cruise was fun it was a bummer that at the best stop we were only allowed off the boat until 1:30pm when we were supposed to be there until 8:30.

Didn't meet our expectations by Desertresident

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: Mexico

The shore excursions were enjoyable. We got to four cities we had never visited in Mexico, plus Cabo San Lucas, our seventh visit there. Oceania did not live up to the expectations I had. Mainly due to our cabin location on the ship, size of the bathroom and underwhelming specialty restaurant. I may try Oceania again in about ten years when I want less activity on my cruises.

Relax and pampered cruise by kvuman

The Cabo San Lucas arrival should be much earlier than 1230pm. We would have more time to enjoy much more places.

Changes made and something’s we didn’t know to do. We are platinum members and usually receive complementary bottles of water I didn’t realize that we had to go pick up our own until after 3 days.

Fun family time with some unfortunate events by Blush66

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

This was my second cruise, first with Carnival. So many things went wrong such as the elevators breaking down on disembarkation day causing us to haul or heavy luggage multiple times down many flights of stairs. There were six fights that happened on the ship. A domestic violence attack outside of our stateroom. Completely unacceptable. The crew members acted like nothing happened. These people should be prosecuted and banned from Carnival. An announcement should have been informing all of the passengers regarding the events and consequences. Now, I fear for my personal safety. It was difficult to get my soda under the bubbles package. I had to ask many times in the MDR for my soda. I was never able to get soda in the buffet because everything is self serve and the only drinks available did not include soda. You have to leave the buffet and go out to the bar in the pool area for soda. Too much of a pain so I probably paid $8/glass of soda since I only had one glass a day in the MDR. My advice is to skip the Bubble package and just pay for each drink. Room service always got our morning coffee/creamer order wrong. So simple....three cups of coffee with creamer. We would get two cups. Or no creamer. No sugar/sweetener. etc. In spite of all of the unfortunate events, I still had a wonderful time with my family. I probably would not take a weeklong Carnival cruise again.

Mexican cruise by hdavis55444

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

We went on this cruise because it seemed like such a good deal. You forget all the added expenses like the automatic gratuities and the beverage package/s etc. I wish the weather had been warmer or more activities to do/shows during the day but it was an overall decent trip. The service we received was good, everyone was polite. I didn't care for the food.

Our first time on the Pacific side of Mexico and the west coast. Pleasant and nice. Slow down and remember you are on vacation. Service is slow but we had no where else to go
