Review summary

All in all this cruise is amazing! I love cruising and have so much fun doing it! Really inexpensive and safe way to travel to Mexico!!! I'm booking my next cruise on Carnival now!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was easy!!! Cruises before Covid, the embarkation seemed to take forever! But this time was easy and quick!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was very sub par. Bland, and not a lot of choices for the buffet. Never been disappointed in the food on a carnival cruise before this one.I also wasn't a fan of having to check in on my carnival app for dinner. Not sure if that was something I signed up for but that was a hassle. When all I wanted to do was sit down and eat. Everything lacked flavor. Breakfast everyday except the last day was terrible. Eggs were watery, I even had their 12-hr French toast and it was raw in the middle. Just not a fan of the food all around.

Onboard Activities

Mini golf was cute and fun,my boyfriend and some other guys really enjoyed the basketball court and the fitness center was well equipped but there weren't really any other activities that interested me. I absolutely enjoyed the hot tubs and casino!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
DJ Mos precious was amazing!!! She kept the music going and the crowd excited! She also had a mix of music that kept everyone dancing

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable about the ship and where things were. Very nice!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and maintained! I can tell it's an older ship (only because I've been on several different carnival ships before), but it is very clean! The only complaint if there is any, the sunrise and sunset dining halls were confusing to get to and from

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was perfect for two of us and our window was beautiful view of the ocean. Our room was 1269 not 1215

Ship tip

Just enjoy yourself, the ship is big but not overwhelming. You'll have an amazing time!!

Disembarkation

It wasn't bad but if you had a balance you had to get out of line to another line to wait to settle your balance. If they could find another quicker way to handle that, it would be perfect!
