Holy Land Geopolitical Mishaps by TonyJean

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

After finally getting on the ship after missing 3 nights and then Missing Jerusalem all together which was the main reason we chose this cruise we made the best of the rest of the vacation. Seeing the places we did was an eye opening experience and helps us with choosing locations for future vacations. Overall Royal Caribbean staff on the ship made for an incredible experience. Majority of the Customer service employees with the Emergency department with Royal Caribbean were rude and nonchalant except for the final ones that got us to the ship after missing flights due to delays that Royal Caribbean Land and Sea booked for us. Seeing that they do this for a living everyday you would think they would have had the knowledge to put a cushion of extra time in between flights or even an extra day. It was like pulling teeth and very tiring and frustrating dealing with someone over the phone and even more disheartening when they were to email information but never did and you had to start the entire process over again to even begin our cruise vacation.

Great adventure! by Jerome

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Odyssey of the Seas

We missed all three stops in Israel due to the increased hostilities in the area. We were diverted to Santorini, Greece and Chania, Cyprus which were outstanding. The crew were great and the passengers seemed to be understanding. It was a great trip!

Everything went as I planned! Food in Dining room was excellent and plentiful, Windjammer food was cold, some selections were uneatable!

Fan of Marina by friedmang

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Marina

We were very happy with our room including housekeeping staff. Although we were assigned a butler, we really did not make use of him. Dining was excellent with very ample portions. I would take another Oceania cruise.

Great places for ports of call. Enjoyed every stop but would have like a little more time in some of the locations. by pjklein1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation

This was a great cruise with a very lovely list of ports. We saw so much and learned a great respect for each country we visited. The cruise crew was excellent and everything went exceptionally well.

Dalmatian Coast Gem by wrktx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Onward

Ship and crew are about what you'd expect, doing their best post COVID. Shore excursions and staff were the low point. A lot of work is needed here.

Our COVID experience by marksievers2670

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Viking Star

This cruise checked off a couple bucket list items -- Vatican Museum, Roman Forum, Pompeii. But we contracted COVID (probably at very crowded Vatican Museum tour), which required that we be isolated for 5 days in our cabin. More or less 1/2 a cruise. Book the pre-cruise stay in Rome for a hotel experience like no other. Worth every penny.

Disappointed in Norwegian Cruise Lines with this Mediterranean Cruise by Cruzn2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star

We will not book a bucket list trip through NCL ever again. Not happy with food options, iten's change based on their decisions, Excursions are way to high. Breakfast is the same every single day. Buffets are pretty boring. Rice every day with potatoes fixed the same. Just bland.

Enjoyable Mediterranean cruise with some exceptions by lbajer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star

Overall, this was a very good trip, and we are glad we did it. Norwegian does have issues to correct. They are rarely on time with excursions. You are given a time to be places and often are 30 minutes late in starting. Also, they make you wait in line for tender tickets and then while waiting in line you are told you don't even need them. Should not have to spend your vacation in line. Norwegian need to work on the shore excursion, guest services and tender ticket lines.

We thought that this was a great way to see several new places. We enjoyed it so much, we booked a future cruise to experience more new places.

Lovely views from only the Ship. by warbird609

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Viking Sky

I likes the Cruise overall but I am mobility unable to walk distances and in every port you had to walk a great distance to get to the meeting areas for tours. The ship is not handicapped friendly. Because of this reason I will not do another Viking Ocean Cruise and that was $25,000.00 that wasn’t spent well.

Beautiful ship, horrible food, questionable destinations. by urbaniz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Grandiosa / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

I would not go on this cruise again with MSC. The ports are not walk off friendly and the food quality on MSC was just awful.

Not our best cruise by silveca1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

I love the shows but there were basically only 4 shows, the magician had 4 shows. The crew were the best. Loved the Bistro for dinner on Valentine’s Day. But had I not brought decorations for my door and candy for the crew, you would not have known it’s Valentine’s Day Tips went up to $20 a day pp Was not made aware and the mandala spa increased their prices. Basic 50 min massage was $199 plus 20 % gratuity All in all. We met nice people.

Just an incredible trip! by Jenn4702

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Bellissima / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was my first cruise. I was astounded at the service and the ship. Easy to get around and the food was great. We used the Yacht Club. Fine dining for all three meals. Music and a lounge in the evening. Beautiful views from the front of the ship. A butler attends to your every need. Room cleaned twice a day. The staff helps you get on and off the ship. The room was great. Everyone was so nice!

msc is the spirit airlines of the cruise industry by rporter30

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Grandiosa / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

You have to pay for too much add on that should be included in the cruise price like other cruise lines. You want get anybody to cruise a second time with you if don't do like the competition.

Great Itinerary - Dirty old ship, very limited entertainment & poor quality food - hubby lost 10 lbs in 11 day! by Corgan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The itinerary including the Canary Islands and Morocco was the reason we chose this as our 3rd Mediterranean cruise. The NCL Sun ship is older, dirty, and below expectations in terms of cleanliness, food, and entertainment.

You NCL apps was not useful in the ship. It log out the whole family once one member if the family log in. We can't see the menu and cannot do reservation in the apps. We can't see weather report in ouaps and TV screen. by Tomcruzz

Nice, overall except that we docked too.long in some of the ports with nothing much to do and short stay on ports with a lot of attractions.
