Review summary

Ship and crew are about what you'd expect, doing their best post COVID. Shore excursions and staff were the low point. A lot of work is needed here.

Ship Quality

Realize this is a 20 year old ship, but still in good repair. That said it is probably due a refurb.

Cabin / Stateroom

typical R ship cabin. The balcony is on the back of the ship protecting it from wind and is larger than port and starboard balconies. Biggest downside is very small shower with curtain.

Ship tip

don't expect "new" ship

WOW! best port on trip. Used GoBaloo for fantastic "off road" adventure. This tour company gets 5+ stars (this was not a ship tour)

Dubrovnik, Croatia

ship anchored outside of port. we had the best views and time walking the walls, much better to anchor here than port on other side of town

Sibenik, Croatia

limited things to see here

Venice, Italy

biggest letdown of port. Since we could not dock IN Venice the ship docked in Chiogga, Azamara's first time there. Cute little town with potential, but not there yet. Ship shore tour to Venice involved a 2 hour transfer, 4 hours in Venice and 2 hours back.
