After finally getting on the ship after missing 3 nights and then Missing Jerusalem all together which was the main reason we chose this cruise we made the best of the rest of the vacation. Seeing the places we did was an eye opening experience and helps us with choosing locations for future vacations. Overall Royal Caribbean staff on the ship made for an incredible experience. Majority of the Customer service employees with the Emergency department with Royal Caribbean were rude and nonchalant except for the final ones that got us to the ship after missing flights due to delays that Royal Caribbean Land and Sea booked for us. Seeing that they do this for a living everyday you would think they would have had the knowledge to put a cushion of extra time in between flights or even an extra day. It was like pulling teeth and very tiring and frustrating dealing with someone over the phone and even more disheartening when they were to email information but never did and you had to start the entire process over again to even begin our cruise vacation.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Never had one. Our plane that was booked through Royal Caribbean Land and Sea was delayed or canceled multiple times. It took 5 different flights to finally get us to where we could embark onto the Odyssey of the Seas. We ended up missing the 1st 3 Nights of our cruise

Onboard Activities

We took part in a couple of activities. Never thought we would have jumped on bumper cars though. That was hilarious !
Entertainment

Ship Quality

Ship was very clean. Staff was on top of everything. Design of ship was beautiful
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a king size bed and requested a mattress topper. The topper made a huge difference in overall comfort. The room was all we needed. The bathroom and shower could have been a couple feet bigger
Ship tip
Give yourself an additional day to see the 1st port of call - ours being Rome, Italy. It would have been nice to see a few sights of Rome other than just the airport. This would also have almost guaranteed that we would not have missed getting on the ship the first day instead of multiple airline catastrophes
