If you’re thinking about taking an Alaskan cruise….do it! You will not regret it. The views and the experiences you encounter are unbelievable. The Princess Discovery cruise ship is beautiful with top notch service and staff! We would definitely cruise with Princess again!

very excited to go on our first cruise with celebrity. everything was great with the exception of the excursions and several of the ports. I did not like icy point - the excursion was poorly vetted, the port had very little to offer. I thought juneau had very little to offer. I like katchikan, but did not ahve enough time to enjoy the town. Onboard spa was excellent. we used message, acupunture, and thermage services. all technitians were excellent.

Cruise was amazing. Travel to and from ports not so much! We explained over and over again to the travel agent and airlines that we only had passport cards and was assured that we were good however upon arriving at the airports we were denied flights. We had to spend an additional $1500 to get to and from on top of the $2000 we had already paid. As of yet we have received no compensation for the added costs.

The Encore is an awesome ship, with great public spaces, excellent service, outstanding entertainment, and very good food at a variety of restaurants. With nearly 4,000 passengers aboard, however, the observation deck and the buffet dining at the Garden Cafe were very busy and crowded, except when most passengers were off board for excursions. If you like vacationing among a horde of people, it is fine. If you prefer less hustle and bustle around you, you might be disappointed. But the ship accommodates and offers something for about every taste in entertainment and dining. It is an experience in itself worth doing at least once in your life.

Great weather. 3 ports were good and beautiful to see. 2 ports were basically cities and not what I wanted to see.

We did not enjoy ourselves as much as we’d hoped. Ports were full of overpriced jewelers and aggressive sellers. Food was mediocre. Ship itself was lovely but activities were less than enjoyable. We all got very sick with Covid as well.

Great cruise that was ruined on 2nd day by a accident that was 100% Celebrity's fault! A lot of money spent to have it ruined by someone's else's mistake. We can thank Rose in guest relations for the bad taste left over her accusing my wife for being at fault for the accident. Not sure how a wrongly assembled mustard dispenser is anyway our fault. Mustard shot into my wife's eye and all over her hair and clothes. They offered a whooping $50.00 for a ruined shirt, pants and shoes.

Captain said it was the best weather for this cruise all season! Outside of the rough day at sea, it was great. I highly recommend this cruise. Holland America was the best of the 4-cruises I've personally been on. The food and service was outstanding. I think the ports were well-chosen and fun to visit.

This was our 1st time on a cruise to Alaska. We had an amazing time. The staff was great the food was good. Great weather.

This cruise actually exceeded our expectations, but we were also very lucky to get wonderful weather! Only had occasional showers at two ports, which is unusual for Alaska, but made our verandah a wonderful place to hang out, listen to the water and enjoy Alaska's landscape.

Overall a very good experience. Had expected food onboard to be better than it was (was ok to good but expected higher tasting quality).

We really enjoyed our Alaskan cruise! The ports were fun and the views were amazing! Ther was also plenty to do on the ship!

This cruise had very limited times at the ports which I didn't like. We arrived at Victoria at night so there's minimal to do and I felt that we should of stayed longer at Juneau and Ketchikan.

Next time I’ll pay better attention to the length of the stop and closeness to towns. The ship was too big to be close, the bus shuttles were long lines, and the stops were WAY too short (especially taking extra time on bus rides).

Find another option! This one misses the mark at every level.

My husband and I have cruised over 13 years and I would have to say this was our big trip only to be disappointed! This cruise was the worst we have taken! The customer service was terrible, short port of calls, internet and tv out most of the cruise, paid for specialty dinning we could not get reservations from day one. Cancelled port of call in Canada which I really wanted to visit. Internet down would not allow to disembark. Disability assistance was non-existent!

Great trip for older folk looking to see Alaska and have a relaxing time. Less good for those looking for an exciting and action packed trip. Alaska is gorgeous, and maybe this is the most accessible way to see it.
