Review summary

We did not enjoy ourselves as much as we’d hoped. Ports were full of overpriced jewelers and aggressive sellers. Food was mediocre. Ship itself was lovely but activities were less than enjoyable. We all got very sick with Covid as well.

Had some issues with luggage transfer but were able to get it straightened out at the last minute

We just got back from our cruise. We also found it to be a little boring. Mostly older people on our cruise too (and at 53 and 60, we are not exactly young). The comedian even made a joke about it. So far our best cruise ever was the Carnival Mardi Gras. We won’t cruise Princess again. IF we go to Alaska again, we’ll choose another line and earlier in the season.

Sorry to hear you got Covid. I got it after flying home with coughers. We were on the same cruise the week before and I didn’t see anyone who seemed ill. We had lots of fun, but we are seniors. Your travel agent can help steer you to a cruise that may be more to your liking. We had a large singles crowd on our cruise, about 170 and they were in their 30’s guessing.
