Embarkation

1 out of 5
Total chaos and disorganized. Horrendous service for mobility challenged passengers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Main dining room steak was not edible - couldn't cut it was so tough. Buffet was messy, overcrowded, impossible to find seats. Food quality of a hospital cafeteria. Room service arrives cold. You only get a decent meal if you pay in a specialty restaurant.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Extraordinarily overpriced massage in which we were pressured to upsell the entire time.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Two musicals were fine. Very limited performances elsewhere by somewhat talented musicians.

Children's Programs

No children on trip

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Friendly when they took your order then you never saw them again. A few bartenders were great. Steward was fine. We had minimal interaction other than to request coffee maker.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Common areas were overcrowded without available seating.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Difficult to access closet and navigate around bed to get to balcony due to small size. It was clean.

Ship tip

Stay away uess you want covid! Food is mediocre and lack variety in complimentary dining

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Pretty day in Seattle which we had no time to enjoy due to disorganized boarding process.

Sitka, Alaska

The line for the ships shuttle in to town took 90 minutes. That gave us very little time to have a rushed lunch and no time to visit shops.

Juneau, Alaska

Our excursion would have been amazing if it wasn't cut short because of minimal time in Port and disorganized mess to get off the ship. We had to rush back to the ship with zero time to see the city.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

1 out of 5
The only port we had a full day to explore and this is not a town, it is a cruiseship port with a few shops, overcrowded restaurants and minimal excursions. Too much time in this port - it should have been reallocated to have more time in Juneau and Victoria.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Pub crawl at 10am?! Would have been good to know this was a morning event when we purchased it! Our time in Port was so short the tour was rushed and we had zero time to walk through any part of the city.

Victoria, British Columbia

We arrived in Port at night, later than scheduled and then the port delayed our ship exit. We stood in a huge line for 90 minutes to exit the ship, getting to our excursion meeting time over 45 minutes late (for a 2 hour excursion). It was completely dark by the time we started the bus tour and Buchart garden tour which was ridiculous in the dark! All facilities other than the entrance to the park were closed. We had 45 minutes to walk around the dark park unescorted and not a single person working to ask for directions. Absolute waste of time and money!

Disembarkation

One of our party contracted covid on the ship and needed help to exit the ship. We were told we would get a call the evening before for arrangements. No call. We didn't get anyone's attention until our steward came to yell at us for still being in our room at 8:30 am. We explained we were still waiting for help for the I'll passenger. Finally, we were taken to a room full of other sick passengers and told to wait there without any additional information. By the time we exited the ship we missed our transportation to the airport. By the second day we were home 100% of us have covid.
