Review summary

My husband and I have cruised over 13 years and I would have to say this was our big trip only to be disappointed! This cruise was the worst we have taken! The customer service was terrible, short port of calls, internet and tv out most of the cruise, paid for specialty dinning we could not get reservations from day one. Cancelled port of call in Canada which I really wanted to visit. Internet down would not allow to disembark. Disability assistance was non-existent!

We’ve just been on the Bliss and the entertainment was incredible! We loved The Jersey Boys and Beatles shows! The only show we didn’t really like was Six but heard some people rave about it.

We don’t bother with reservations for specialty dining except Teppanyaki. We just show up and most times we were seated right away, our longest wait was 25 minutes….

You can book speciality dining well in advance, if you wait until you’re onboard you may not get the restaurants/times you want. We’ll be on the Bliss next Jan and looking forward to it but I wouldn’t do Alaska on this ship based on the very common complaints about port times.

From my research any Alaska cruise out of Seattle is always going to have short port times due to the requirement of an international port. Hence the two or three hours in Victoria, BC. This is why I deliberately took my Alaska cruise out of Vancouver, BC, Canada - roundtrip.

Alaska ports are always short they have to work with the tides. Sorry about the disability assistance tho. That can be rough

Sorry you were disappointed with your cruise.

If you’ve cruised 13 times you should have known to look at the times in port and you should also know that your not guaranteed to stop at every port of call due to unforeseen issues.

Didn't you look at the itinerary times before choosing your cruise?!
