Alaska - Gulf of Alaska Cruise Reviews

We did the Alaska Land and Sea tour. We had difficulty getting information before the trip. For instance we wanted to know which meals were included. We could not find and answer. No meals were included. We also had to change flights because our connection looked like it would be canceled. We tried to contact Celebrity to tell them our new flight info and arrival time. The only number we had involved a 30 minute hold time. When we arrived, we found our contact. When we said our names, he said we were to have been there 15 minutes earlier. We explained that we had to change flights. We later found out that our original flight arrived three hours after ours.

The cruise was excellent. The food, entertainment, facilities, and naturalist talks were all top notch. The course of the ship along Alaska's inner passage was smooth and beautiful. Be aware that the wifi service is weak and plan accordingly. I plan on taking a cruise again in the future.

Enjoyed the cruise. Would not have booked except for the fact we had to use a refund by the end of the year. We were quite concerned about COVID, but it did not seem to be a big problem on the cruise.

Based on this I won't sail with Princess again. There are many other cruise lines out there that provide better service and have better experiences. The only reason we were on Princess is we were with a group and this is the line they decided on.

This was our ninth Princess cruise and our. Second time to Alaska. Overall, we were a little disappointed in the food and some of the other services such as WI FI We didn’t complain but wondered why the music played in the Piazza (deck 5) was so ear splitting loud while we were trying to enjoy a cup of coffee

This cruise was luxury in appearance only. Food and drink service were chronically understaffed resulting in long wait times for everything. Dinner became a 2 hour ordeal after a 30min wait with reservations. Food was overcooked and poor quality ingredients. Cheap fatty meats always cooked well done, burnt dry chicken and frozen European fish options despite sailing in Alaska. Entertainment onboard was non-existent with 1 show per night and 1-2 activities per day excluding onboard shopping. Everyone we met couldn't stop talking about what a disappointment this cruise was. Great itinerary but worst onboard experience I've ever had in 20+ cruises.

Amazing Alaskan trip saw several animals and lots of beautiful scenery.

We have found that NCL ships are somewhat better than other ships we have been on.

Overall, a great trip. Had some rain and fog at times but it really didn't take away from the wonderful experiences and scenery. The day spent cruising down the inside passage was breathtaking. This trip is well worth your time and money.

Overall this was a great time for our family. we were able to bring our two older sons with us for the first time, and they had not cruised before. They thoroughly enjoyed it, and had no preconceived notions, so for them it was great as well. We all had a wonderful time, and enjoyed all of our ports together. For my wife and I, we had been there 2 times previously, but our sons had not been to Alaska. They especially loved it.

Enjoyed our cruise to the fullest!! Alaska was awesome, and Princess included all good ports so definitely recommend this one to any photo enthusaistic folks out there, as all the best ports were included in our cruise. However we thought Princess was very basic when it came to the decor, as only the main atrium seemed to have a grand feel, otherwise every thing else was pretty bland, and had a feel of a coroporate place! Even the dining halls didnt have much glamor. Another thing to be noted is, there werent many activities for us, so we felt bored on sea days even though we were a good crowd of 12 friends. Also food was mediocre, just okay I'd say. But staff was amazingly helpful and always served us happily. Enjoyed!!

Wonderful vacation. We enjoyed the beautiful ship and the entertainment on board. Alaska is beautiful with so much to see and do. A great cruise!

Great team taking care of our stateroom and the waitstaff was always on top of every detail

Over all the whole cruise was great, the steward's were on top of their game. I really enjoyed the casino and the drinks. The food was a little disappointing, especially the buffet. It was beautiful country

This app is saying my overall review is 4.5 stars. I disagree. I do not feel my cruise experience exceeded 4, maybe even less. I know the notes said 4.5 is not a simple average of the scores I gave. I assume Princess made up the 4.5 score to look good to public.

I loved the fact that the ship was not full, so so much nicer

Enjoyed the cruise very much. Would do it again. Beautiful state. If we are able to do another cruise in this area we will schedule more excursions to see more of the area and hopefully see some bears and whales in their natural habitat

No way is this cruise a 3.3 . It’s not the stops that make all of your vacation but the cruise ship and how you are treated on the ship! They need ALOT of work
