Review summary

Overall, a great trip. Had some rain and fog at times but it really didn't take away from the wonderful experiences and scenery. The day spent cruising down the inside passage was breathtaking. This trip is well worth your time and money.

This 8th deck cabin was room roomy with an oversized veranda. We had 4 adjoining rooms which we could open up and connect our verandas creating a 180°+ panoramic aft view. It was amazing.

Ship tip

Try to find out EXACTLY when you you need your covid test. We were given so much wrong and conflicting information by Holland America that we wasted hours trying to comply. The only test we needed was the one they administered in Denali before taking the train to Anchorage. The rest were a waste of time and money. Just have your vaccination information with you.

Don't let them force you into the cattle pen to wait for a cab when you get off the ship. Just go outside and you can get a cab or an Uber right away. We waited an hour in that line and found out we didn't have to do that.

This says 8th deck but room #6168 which would be deck 6. If on 8 did you have any issue with noise from the pool deck?
