Went to see the USS Iowa again. It’s right by the cruise piers. Buy tickets online, $2 cheaper.

Glad we were able to clear U.S. customs when we boarded in Vancouver! It was so nice to get off the ship without the customs gone show like we had two years ago on the same ship.

If here for a day or so, see the Iowa Battleship and walk down at the Port o' Call. An excellent Italian Restaurant is Raffaello Ristorante on Pacific Ave.

Close to the port but not in a very nice area. Good for the pre-cruise stay.

We disembarked there. You dont want to be wandering around the port area. Because our flight from LAX was not til 5pm we took a tour from the ship to Long Beach. The coach picked us up at the ship with all our luggage. At Long Beach we had three hours to do our own thing. Then we boarded the coach again which took us to the airport. The bags were on the coach the whole time and it was secured when we left it. A great way to kill time and get to the airport

Stayed at the Best Western San Pedro where they provided a free shuttle to the ship. The free Red Trolley takes you to 5 scenic areas of San Pedro. (only available on weekends)
