Review summary

Overall we were glad we went. Calaifornia Coastal Cruise is wonderful itinerary. Celebrity is still our favorite. I think we prefer the Soltice class ships, but still a great time.

We ate in Blu. We loved it, although it's not for everyone's taste.

Okay, nothing more. Older ships have fewer options, bells and whistles. Didn't matter that much to us, however.

Entertainment

We were surprised. We and friends of ours walked out of more than one show. Not up to the usual standard from Celebrity.

Service and Staff

Service in Blu was outstanding. Most staff around the ship were happy and helpful. The downside was our room steward, who was adequate at best.

Ship was clean and well maintained. Having sailed on newer ships, we noticed how design has evolved for the better, particularly in the staterooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

Stateroom was fine. just a bit small. Balcony had an overhang that was not a problem. It blocked the sun and wind and view of the sky. Under the pool deck, but rarely noisy (who wears heels on the pool deck??). Conveinient to the Buffet for that quick coffe in the AM.
