Pay for hotel usage at this port. The shopping, beach tour was great. There are a lot of peddlers on the beaches here. You want to lounge in a roped off area to avoid them.

I loved this port much better. It was beautiful, friendly, less touristy and really accessible to different things.

Went to Stone Beach. In the brochure it stated that there would be a 30 minute "party" boat ride to the area when in fact it was a 5 minute boat ride across the bay then a ride on tractor pulled carts to the beach area.

We did a tour through a third party which was OK. We did not find Mazatlán that compelling, and the beach area we went to on Stone Island was run down and overly touristy, with competing loud disco music pumping from multiple directions......not a relaxing experience at all.
