Review summary
We made the reservations and planned this trip within one week of sailing. We had a room for four with two twenty somethings up in the upper bunks. we had just enough room. Most of our time was spent around the ship or on shore. The inside cabin was a bargain for us, more comfortable when the ship was moving around. The food selection was very large and the food was great. We always selected something different and enjoyed the experience. The chocolate melting cake was the ultimate family hit. The staff was very efficient and did their job without bothering us. Our room was taken care of very well and we never saw the cabin attendent for the first 5 days. When we did want to converse with the staff, they were very interesting and friendly. This cruise / ship attracted many nice people who were interested in talking with others. No one seemed to have their nose up in the air. Formal nights were not too formal, just comfortable since most guys had suit or sport coats.Ports of call
Pros: Very friendly staff and guests. Ample room everywhere.
Cons: Colder weather leaving out of Long Beach than anticipated.
Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!
